What To Expect
The Citadella is the fortification located upon the top of Gellért Hill in Budapest, Hungary. Citadella is the Hungarian word for citadel, a kind of fortress. The word is exclusively used by other languages to refer to the Gellért Hill citadel which occupies a place which held strategic importance in Budapest's military history. 5.00So happy decide to go for tour with Budtours, right choice to go around the highlight attractions with it esp if youre traveling with parents. We are also stopping by to try struddles, and what I can say its the best struddles we ever taste!!! Our driver & guide really knowledgeable and patient waiting for us due too long line for toilet break (apologize I forgot your name) but def recommend for first timer visit Budapest to go with them. 🥰

We’ve had the most wonderful New Years Day afternoon seeing so many different sights with plenty of time to explore and John Paul was such a lovely guide with so much knowledge and even changed the schedule up a bit to meet our families needs!! We would absolutely recommend this company and excursion to anyone wanting to get their bearings in a new city or trying to see as much as they can in a short space of time!! The sweet hot tea and apple strudel finished the afternoon off nicely!! And the vehicle and throws made it all the more special!! Thank you.

5.00A beautiful, comfortable and very warm way to see the top attractions in Budapest. We were able to see everything in a few hours. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable and provided us all the key facts. The G-wagon was a fun addition! Definitely recommended for small groups.

5.00Our driver, John, was warm and welcoming and really knew his way around Budapest to avoid traffic queues and see the sights. We had a mix of recorded historical information and his own insights. We also made a few stops, most notably at Buda castle where we got to try a piece of warm strudel from a local bakery. Was a great intro to Budapest.
