The Park of Chapultepec is one of the most visited public parks in the world. Twice as large as Central Park in New York, Chapultepec Park has a massive landscape. It´s considered the biggest urban park in America, and due to its measurement, it´s divided into three parts.

What To Expect
Monumento a los Ninos Heroes
Learn about the monument of Niños Héroes, dedicated to de cadets that die during the US intervention in Mexico. You will see 6 large marble columns with a torch at the top, and under them, a figure of a woman holding a dead cadet and an olive branch, as a symbol of peace.
During your visit, you will be stopping at one of the several archeological sites that Chapultepec Park hosts. It is an small zone with some archeological remains, where you guide will explain everything about what they werwe in the past.

5.00I was provided an English speaking guide, Alex. We explored zones 1 and 2 of Chapultepec Park by bike. Alex was knowledgeable of the history and gave great recommendations on what else to see in the park and the surrounding area. The bike ride was easily manageable with bare minimum fitness. Frustrating tour with broken bikes

2.00The bicycles were broken and very hard to pedal. The tour operator never texted us the day before like all the other tours do. As a result we didn’t have communications to meet up at the right place. It was frustrating. The tour guide did a nice job, and it was good to be in the park early. One last thing. The first stop on the tour after we got started was on an overpass over a big highway with very loud cars and lots of fumes. They should skip this stop. We just wanted to get in the park for peace and quiet and clean air while the guide told us about when they built the highway. Who cares?

The information on this tour helped us decide what parts of the park to visit by ourselves in the afternoon. It was a very peaceful morning biking through the quiet and shady park, stopping here and there to learn about the sights and history of the park. I recommend starting a Chapultepec day with this tour and then planning to stick around to see more of it. We also planned this for near the end of our trip so we wouldn't have any issues with the altitude, but the biking is chill and not intense - I think we would have been fine from day one.

5.00The tour was great. It started on time at 8:30. Which is a great time to ride through the park. No traffic and nice temperature. Yair was our guide. he was great. Very knowledgeable about the history of the park , the statues and their significance in Mexican history. The pace was perfect for my husband and I who are in our mid 60’s. Yair’s English is perfect. Definetly recommend the tour.
