Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
We’ll begin the day with private hotel pickup and head straight to the Panda Base, arriving early to avoid the crowds. During your visit, you’ll enjoy: 1. 5.00I had a great experience with Ji, the pickup was smooth and Ji was patient to allow me to grab the passport I forgot. It was refreshing to have a knowledgeable local sharing information - not just limited to pandas, but all things Chengdu and Sichuan. Definitely a memorable experience I will treasure and these exchanges are what really make the trip for me.

5.00Ji contacted me right away after I booked the panda tour, and we went to the panda centre. I have learnt a lot from Ji about China, and the Chinese culture. He also advised me on how to travel in China, apps to use and places to go. I highly recommend this private tour if you want to see Pandas and learn about China. Ji is an awesome guide.

5.00Liu Ji speaks excellent English which made our tour with him very smooth. I booked the panda tour with him through a tour operator and his service was top notch. Arrived on time. Was friendly and cheerful and his car was very comfortable and luxurious. During the tour we agreed to do a custom tour the following day. He was flexible with the timings required and was even happy to come earlier when we were ready ahead of time. It was a long drive to the Buddha statue but I felt very safe in the car with him. His advice about boarding the boat and getting the best view was perfect. All in all two great days with him. You can book with confidence knowing this guy is a total professional

The park is big with many areas & paths so having Ji to take us to all the areas, helping point out & telling us about pandas made it more enjoyable & easier. We highly recommend Ji.

5.00I had a great morning with Ji today walking around the base and looking at the giant and red pandas. Ji is very knowledgeable about the subject, with excellent English and communication. He provided great stories and anecdotes about pandas and his experiences. Ji picked me up from my hotel a few minutes early and drove me in his very modern car, no safety issues at all. It was great to spend a few hours getting to know Ji and about his life in China and swapping stories. I’d have no hesitation booking Ji for any tour. 5* Thanks - Neil
See the pandas up close with no waiting in line for ages. Get to the right enclosures at the right time.
