What To Expect
10am Begin with a pickup from your Corfu hotel or the cruise port, then hop inside your private, air-conditioned vehicle and travel to Achillion Palace, the former home of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Pay your entrance fee and head inside to explore independently. Or, if you've opted to have a professional guide accompany you, enjoy a guided tour of the palace's highlights. Admire the statues, frescoes, paintings and neoclassical architecture, and learn more about the royal residence's long history.
Kaiser's Throne
12pm Next, head to Kaisers Throne. Situated at the top of Pelekas village, this popular lookout point is named after the German Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II, who spent his summers in Corfu at Achillion Palace, which he purchased in 1907. Have your camera ready as you gaze out over the undulating coastline, shimmering sea and nearby islands. Then, perhaps head into the village and stop off at a local eatery for a drink or bite to eat (own expense).

5.00We had a great full-day tour with our guide. He showed us all the highlights of the island and we even had some time to spend on the beach with our nine-year-old daughter. It is a beautiful island and this is a great way to experience as much as you can in limited amount of time.
