Angela and Jaime are beautiful people and very knowledgeable guides. They would pick you up on time and bring you around Quito telling you stories and anecdotes about Ecuador and Quito (also stopping twice for amazing chocolate tasting). The Middle of the World site is very funny and interesting. We really really recommend to book a tour with them!

Cesar Luis was fantastic. He was a calm and confident driver with a great personality, and we had a great experience making the most of our one day in Quito. My husband my mother-in-law and I are so glad we booked this tour. The chocolate tasting, golden church, equator museum and delicious lunch with beautiful views of the city were highlights. He had a lot of local and historical information to share with us as well. He even took us to an authentic Panama hat shop, which was on my husband’s bucket list—and made sure we got some insect repellent for our Galapagos trip the next day. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We have visited Quito several times, but on this trip, we had the best tour of Quito with Angela and Jamie! They are both very knowledgeable about Quito and shared so much information about the history, culture, and customs of Ecuador. They are wonderful ambassadors for this beautiful country, and we greatly enjoyed getting to spend time with them. I highly recommend them!

We had a wonderful day in Quito with Jamie and Angela! We learned and experienced so much in just the one day. Jamie and Angela made sure to incorporate the experiences we wanted in the itinerary and also showed us some of their favorite things. They are both extremely welcoming and personable and it truly felt that we were traveling with friends, not just “guides”. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Found this tour and agency from TripAdvisor as we were looking for a tour of Quito. Communication was quick via email and What’s App. Affordable for our family of 5 to do a private tour and when we needed to get a later start due to unforeseen circumstances, Angela and Jamie ensured that we could do this and still complete the tour. Our guide, Cesar, was very prompt, the passenger van was quite roomy and comfortable, and we had a great time seeing much of Quito both by vehicle and on foot. Cesar shared a lot about Ecuador and Quito, as well as the specific sites we visited. We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant recommended by Cesar who also provided advice re: what traditional foods to try. Then we went to the Middle of the World museum which was very interesting with demonstrations and explanations to understand more about the equator. I highly recommend letgotoecuador to arrange your Quito tour. Also, they assisted us in arranging transport from the Airport to our hotel, which was very helpful!

We had an awesome time getting to know the city of Quito and Ecuador in general. Our guide was always punctual picking us up at each stop and introducing us to the local guides at the sites. Between stops we discussed culture, history, celebrations of holidays, healthcare, and much more. We toured the equator educational park and was mesmerized to learn the implications of 00 latitude. We visited the equator museum and enjoyed the band competition of the high school students who were there that day. I was surprised how high we went up on the cable car to get a spectacular view of the area. Upon decent, we walked into old town seeing the many ornate churches. When we visited the Presidential square, the band and men on horseback made a ceremony announcing the president of Ecuador and the president of Peru who spoke to the crowd. We ate in traditional food in a picturesque restaurant. Afterwords we walked to the San Francisco square and tasted chocolate. After returning to our car, we had parked at the Basilica and it was like we had saved the best for last. We logged 10,167 steps for the day. So glad that we had prepared with the medications to prevent altitude sickness.
