What To Expect

Plovdiv

Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Sofia at 9:30 AM. Relax in a private car as you make your way to Plovdiv, a journey of about 2 hours. Upon arrival, embark on a 2-hour guided tour of Plovdiv’s old town. Discover the city’s rich history, which spans Thracian, Roman, Byzantine, Medieval Bulgarian, Ottoman, Revival Bulgarian, and Soviet periods. Stroll through the old Revival houses from the 19th century, admire the Roman theater and stadium, and take in the views from Nebet Hill. Walk along the main street, officially the longest pedestrian street in Europe. After the tour, enjoy a traditional local lunch at a special restaurant. Choose from chicken, pork, fish, or vegetarian options. After lunch, enjoy an hour of free time for shopping on the main street and exploring souvenir shops. At around 3:30 PM, begin your journey back to Sofia, arriving at your hotel by 5:30 PM.
