Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Discover Scuba Diving can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver certification. The dive portion is from the boat to the second largest barrier reef in the world and if you enjoy the course, it is the first step towards completing your Scuba certification.

5.00Im Advanced and Wreck mixed gas Diver, been out of the water 5 yrs, Chia did my warm up/refresher dive, she then led me on several very cool cave dives and ledges. The refresher instruction was smooth and all 10 dives with the team were great and everyone of the Dive Masters and Captains were exceptional. Ive been diving 46 years minus the 5 yrs off and Chia and West Bay Divers did not dissapoint.

5.00The entire excursion was great! From the driver who picked us up and took us back to the cruise terminal, who was a dear and helped with our bag, she got us there and back safe and sound. When we got to West Bay Divers they were waiting and ready to teach us all we needed to know. Takeshi our dive master was so patient with us. He taught us first in shallow water to get us ready for the dive. On the way down when we panicked he talked us down and made our dive one to remember. The videos were great. The dive shop manager even gave us extra time to enjoy the beach before our ride came to pick us up. They are true professionals. I would definitely go back for more dives. Thank you Takeshi! You ROCK!

5.00Our family had a great experience with Takeshi and boat captain Ashton! It was our first time diving and Roatan did not disappoint. Takeshi was our personal dive master and guide for 3 days. He was patient and kind, especially with me, as a nervous first-timer. He listened to our requests and made each dive memorable and fun. After we got home, Takeshi sent us priceless videos and pictures from his go pro of our family. We will definitely be returning to Roatan and request that Takeshi can be our guide again. Thank you, Takeshi!!!

5.00I did an intro to scuba with Taki and my husband and it was so much fun! We got to see a bunch of marine life and he even took pictures of us underwater! Such a great experience! I would go again in a heartbeat

5.00We did a Discover Dive with Joel. He is a fantastic instructor, patient, funny and very knowledgeable about diving. We felt totally safe knowing Joel was with us under sea. Best of all he is a great person, super nice and with a great laugh, making the whole experience even better! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to do their first dive!

5.00Wonderful experience with West Bay Divers. 15 minute walk down the beach from the Kimpton. Very accommodating shop. Arturo was an amazing guide. Ended up doing two dives with him. Highly recommend.

5.00My wife experienced diving for the first time in Roatan. We researched all the local dive shops available in West Bay and they all have great reviews. We decided on West Bay Divers and made the best choice possible. Our instructor Takeshi, was friendly, reassuring, patient, and an absolute joy to be around. He is one of those guys who you could immediately become friends with. Our first dive with him was so enjoyable we immediately booked a second dive. In addition to Takeshi the rest of the staff (Boat Captains, Other Instructors, etc..) everyone was personable, friendly, and all around amazing people who made you feel welcome and like you were part of their secret dive club. I could not possibly give this place a higher recommendation. 100/10 rating, if you want amazing people around you for an amazing experience then please see the amazing team at West Bay Divers!!!
