Happy Sam was a great tour guide. Weather was perfect for the full day. Lots of walking up and down hills but I loved the exercise. I definitely recommend this private tour.

We had an amazing time here getting to learn more about the Korean War History. We had a wonderful time with Alex as our guide. He was very friendly and excitable about sharing more about not only the history of South Korea but about their culture and food. He answered any questions we had along with sharing lots of recommendations about places to try authentic Korean food and additional places we must see while we're visiting. As we went through our tour he took lots of pictures for us, so we didnt have to worry about one of us being left out of any photos. I definitely recommend this tour to learn more about Korean history along with getting Alex as a guide.

Awesome informational private tour of the DMZ with Won! Won picked us up from our hotel- and took amazing care of us. He introduced us to a North Korean defector and then gave us an informational tour of the DMZ including a tunnel visit. The tunnel features a steep walk (got my heart rate up!) but was a must see stop. Won took our photos but also gave us an enriching historical perspective. 5 stars, would definitely book again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Incredible to experience the DMZ and dive into the history of the conflicts between North and South Korea. Our guide, Marie, was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She was so patient with my 6th grade son who asked every question imaginable. Great learning experience!! Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing experience overall. Our guide, Jay, explained everything very clearly and made sure we understood every detail. He presented everything in a very friendly and easy-to-follow way, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything was perfectly organized and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Our tour was mostly well organized. Private tours are private in terms of getting to the DMZ and having a private guide. Our guide Won was very knowledgeable, telling us many interesting facts about North Korean life. He also drove very safely on the way to the DMZ. A few things may come as a surprise to visitors and should be kept in mind: The meeting with a North Korean defector was only 10 minutes and felt unduly rushed, since we were very much looking forward to it the brevity of this meeting was disappointing. At the same time there was lots of waiting time standing around in the cold outside early in the morning. Nobody will tell you to do so but it is implicitly expected that you invite your guide for lunch if you have lunch at the ticket hall second floor. During peak travel season expect pickup in Seoul to be arranged around 6am. The day we went was filled with dense fog and there were no views into North Korea.
