Won was a great guide. It was fantastic being on a private tour. We joined a group for the bus ride in but then had Won all ti ourselves to explain the history and current situation between N and South Korea. Fascinating

I would’ve enjoyed more time with the NK defector, but overall, this is a good experience. This tour is a good variety and Simba was a very energetic and informative tour guide. There are a couple moments where souvenir-buying is pushed, and lunch is not included. However, neither are required. Seeing the DMZ is an eye-opening, harrowing, but ultimately worthwhile and valuable experience. Be warned, this is not a deep dive into politics and history in the Korean Peninsula. Like many tourist attractions and monuments that have to do with war and events of national importance, there is a great deal of national myth-making and selective readings of history that produce a product for consumption by tourists.

Our guide, Tiger, a military veteran, was excellent – knowledgeable, engaging, and with superb English. He picked us up from our hotel, made sure we got the most out of every location we visited, answered every question thoughtfully, and expertly managed the logistics, even whisking us to the front of queues where possible. He was also great company. Thanks to Tiger, we now have a much deeper understanding of the origins of the Korean War and the subsequent division of Korea. The tour was well paced, informative, and fascinating throughout. We couldn’t have hoped for a better guide and would strongly recommend both Tiger and this tour to anyone visiting Seoul.

What an incredible day. This day was the most impactful and meaningful of our entire trip. Won was our tour guide and he was absolutely excellent. He communicated in advance and it was easy to spend the day with him. We learned so much about the history of the area and Won explained so well the way different people feel about what has happened and is happening. We also got to meet a NK defector and that was an absolutely eye opening Q&A. It would be a shame for anyone to miss this experience if they are visiting South Korea. We felt as though we were witnessing history as it was happening and Won made sure we understood everything we wanted to know about the area and the people. I feel so grateful for all I learned this day.

Amazing tour with PLK!! Marie was so kind, attentive, and efficient! It was a very busy day for tours at the DMZ (due to next day holiday), but she optimized our time and was able to get us past the crowds seamlessly. We truly enjoyed our time with her - she is so knowledgeable about the DMZ and Korea’s history. She also gave us some incredible recommendations for food and attractions around our hotel. Would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Marie and PLK!

What an amazing experience! Our guide, Marie, was very knowledgeable about the DMZ and wanted us to have a very memorable tour. She did everything she could to ensure our happiness. A little fast paced at times, I will remember this tour for the rest of my life! Note that weather is an important factor. I would recommend Spring or Fall. Haze or rainy weather will impact your chance of seeing NK.

PLK provided a comfortable private tour for our family of 6. Messages were quick and concise, and answered all of our queries. They catered to our needs perfectly and were prompt and thoughtful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the conversations and insight throughout the journey. The only addition that could have made it better, would have been lunch included for the private tour package. We will book again if any other family or friends visit.

Our group had an excellent experience with Won. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would. Won picked us up at our hotel in a very nice clean car and immediately was a great conversationalist. He was very forthcoming with the details of the day. Every part of the experience was seamless and Won was very knowledgeable and eager to answer any of our questions, he is a very charismatic tour guide that made our day very relaxed and fun.
