What To Expect
St. Paul's Cathedral
The cathedral was built to replace St. John's Church, which had become too small for Calcutta's growing European community; by 1810 there were 4,000 British men and 300 British women in Bengal.
Mother House
Firstly we will take you to visit the Mother Teresa's House to view her tomb and then to Nirmal Hriday, The Place where Mother Teresa had lived with her sisters to served the peoples.

5.00This was a great tour! First if you only have one day to see the major sites of Kolkata this is the tour to take! You see the major sites and does a great job of getting the details you would see without a guide. My guide, Chandrayee, was very knowledgeable about everything we were seeing and the relevant background of all things West Bengal. Furthermore, when I said I had visited one of the attractions on the list previously Chandrayee thought of an additional place to see and have more detail at other stops to make the visit more valuable. The driver, Ravi, was professional and got us around safely. Highly recommended all around.

5.00I had a truly wonderful experience on this tour. Our guide was exceptional, always on time, very well-organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so many fascinating facts, stories, and details about Kolkata, far beyond what was expected. He managed the time beautifully and had a very natural sense for how much we could take in, adjusting the pace gently when we were getting tired. Kolkata is a city full of contrasts, beauty, and history, and thanks to him I was able to see it in a very special and meaningful way. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kolkata. It’s a special way to really see and understand the city more deeply. Our guide made all the difference, his knowledge and the way he shared it turned this into an unforgettable day. I’m very grateful for the whole experience.

5.00Had wonderful day touring the sites and sounds of Kolkata. Wonderfully organised by the excellent Subrata we were taken form temples to Mother Teresa’s House ( so inspirational) to colonial sites and the colours of Kolkatas streets. Had excellent vegetarian meal and capped by coffee at Indian Coffee House. Brilliant day. Subrata was informative, clear and so calm- willing to flow with what we wanted to do and see

5.00Ssooo much to see and do in Calcutta but if you don't have the time, book this tour and marvel at the highlights of this city. We got to know historical bits of the city and see first hand local life. Really amazing Our guide Sengupta was very informative about many topics including history, politics, culture, etc. The car was comfortable and the polite driver.

5.00What a fantastic day with Chandrayee. She was knowledgeable about her city and was an excellent Ambassador. Having it be personal allows you to be flexible with your request. Given that I like architecture, my only recommendation for those who will choose this tour and may wish more time with the colonial buildings - I would suggest working with Chandrayee and starting the tour earlier and skipping one of the other activities. Chandrayee was professional, thoughtful and aware of her guest needs! Bravo!!

3.00Not as advertised. The “guide” was more an “escort”. Did not provide information unless asked directly and the response was unclear or unrelated. The flower market was a stimulating experience, without any explanation or context. Long walk to the fruit market which was basically empty. Walked a long way from the flower market to the fruit market. Asked multiple times how far without good answer. Eventually requested we take an “auto” which we did. The tour ended there and we were pleased to return to our hotel. I would not end this tour.

5.00Highly recommended! Had an amazing tour with my guide Subrata who showed me around the town. You could tell he was passionate about the city and had a lot of knowledge and history to share about the various places that we visited. He met me at my hotel and was able to customize the tour experience based on my interest. I really appreciated that he looked out for my safety as a new traveler in the country.
