In morning our guide will pick up you from your hotel in Luxor to visit both Dendera and Abydos temples the north most temples in upper Egypt, it is one day tour its duration a bout from 8 hours to 10 hours first will discover the temple of Abydos which considered the best preserved temple built by great king Ramses II for 7 gods, and for the god Osiris god of dead, Abydos temple.
It is located about 135 km from Luxor, then continue to Dendera which built for the goddess Hathor patroness of love and joy which built in 2250 B.C , and Dendera temple it is located 60 km north of Luxor.

What To Expect
Dendera Temple of Hathor
Your qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from your starting point by A/C Vehicle at about 7:00 AM in Luxor to accompany you to discover Dendera the Temple of Hathor, known as the goddess of love and joy.The temple is located in Dendera which is situated at the north of Luxor.
Abydos
Then journey to discover the ancient sites.We start our visit by going to Abydos the ancient Egyptians believed that the Lord of the underworld was buried there. The temple which was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II known as temple of Seti I. It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.

5.00The trip was a fantastic opportunity to see not only the wonderful temples of Dendera and Abydos but a real chance to see the topography -fertile land and desert. Fabulous opportunity to see how village and town life differ and to experience the traffic chaos on the roads. Our excursion was organised through AlHassay Travel was well planned with comfort stops and an air conditioned coach, plenty of water included a brilliant driver and an excellent guide. Our guide Abdulla Fouad spoke perfect colloquial English so was easy to understand, and his knowledge and enthusiasm were boundless. He interpreted all the hieroglyphs with ease and made the story of the temples come to life. Everything was placed in historical context with clear explanations of facts. He listened and responded to our questions really attentively, was patient and had a wonderful sense of humour. The perfect guide in every way.

5.00Our amazing guide was Abdullah Fouad and we had an amazing day. Abdullah was excellent his English and clarity were superb and his knowledge of Egypt first class. He knew when to give inforamation and when to allow free time. Abdullah was our guide on 3 tours. Two to the West Bank as well. Alhasnay Travel were also an excellent tour organiser.
