5.00We've been a whole day in Mindo with Mauro as our guide. He was great, really expert, very kind and funny. We had 5 very good stages: first we went to a little river walking on a small path and in front of the river Mauro let us try some cacao beans directly by the fruit, then we went to the Mindo's waterfalls and we took a bath and Mauro has always been attended to our needs, with a smile all the time! Then we went to Mariposas de Mindo and we saw a lots of mariposas and our guide always helped us to do everything in the right way so we could enjoy without any mistake. After that we had lunch in Mindo in a tipical restaurant and the meal was very good. So we got to "Mindo chocolate makers" where we had a full trip on how the chocolate is made and it was really interesting. Last but not the least we went to San Tadeo Birding where we saw many hummingbirds and we also fed them! It was a very amazing day: we raccomand this tour to everyone, expecially with Mauro, the perfect guide for a perfect tour!

5.00Honestly - if you're looking for a private guide in the Quito area and are unsure of who to use, look no further! My experience was absolutely phenomenal, so much so that after originally only booking one day to go to Mindo, I immediately booked a second day to go to Cotopaxi. The tours were well organised and everything was done at an easy going pace, no rushing around. I saw soooo much and learned so much, too. I highly recommend this company.
