You will be picked up by our English speaking guide at 0430hrs In the morning and transfer for a 2 hour’s drive to Musanze Ruhengeri the second largest town in Rwanda, with its spectacular view of five volcanic mountains –The virungas . Continue to kinigi Headquarters to meet your guides for the day. After completing our park formalities, we are embark in life for once in a lifetime experience for mountain Gorilla Trekking. later after the activity Transfer to Kigali.

It was the most amazing day. We got to see all 18 of our gorilla family and got up and close. The silverback even walked between us all. Most importantly frank our driver was the most amazing guy and gave us so much information on Rwanda. He helped us check in when we arrived and took us for lunch where he had organised a cake as it was my husbands birthday. On the way home he even took us to the shop as it had been such a long day.
Must do gorilla visit tour!

I had an amazing time on the Trail Trek Africa tour and cannot recommend it enough. My tour guide, Patrick, was kind, helpful and answered all the questions I had about the trek and Rwanda in general! Honestly, I was unsure if it would be worth the cost when first purchasing the permit, and now I can confidently say the whole experience exceeded my expectations.

I researched several tour companies and settled on Trail Trek Africa given the other reviews, they are a young business with young founders and their communication was amazing and genuine. You will not regret booking with them. I had an unforgettable day with Eric as my driver. Peterson was always communicative via WhatsApp and sorts everything for you beforehand. The gorilla trek itself was of course a highlight but during the drive itself and lunch I learned so much more about Rwanda from Eric and all of the facts and tips he gave. I felt very welcomed. This was a bucket list experience and one I will never forget!

I enjoyed my six days in Rwanda much more than I had expected. I appreciate Peterson very much for my fantastic experience. Before I visited Rwanda, I asked Peterson many questions, so many that I was afraid he might refuse to be my guide or agent. But he answered all my questions and gave me kind advice. Of course, in Rwanda, both in the car and while walking, he told me a lot about Rwanda and answered all of my questions. I went gorilla trekking and climbed Mount Bisoke. Both were great experiences, but the most moving one was the cultural tour to a village. I cooked with the village women and made banana beer. Furthermore, I danced and sang songs with them. The village was different from the one I saw on the Volcanoes National Park's website. Peterson chose this village for me. The moment I saw the leader of the women's group welcome me with a great smile, I was sure Peterson's choice was perfect. When I got to the house, five or six women welcomed me with dancing and singing. I understood they were welcoming me and at the same time enjoying themselves. They invited me to dance with them, but I didn't because I had hurt my knee while climbing Mount Bisoke the previous day. However, I ultimately danced with them after making banana beer because their dancing and singing looked and sounded very enjoyable. I really thank Peterson very much. Without him, I couldn't have enjoyed Rwanda so much.

Peterson made the experience so enjoyable and hassle free for us! The itinerary was great and so were all the arrangements, even when I reached out to him pretty last minute. I would totally recommend their services and absolutely use them when I get back.
