We can’t recommend this experience enough. Our guide, Dave, was awesome: warm, funny, and super knowledgeable. He made the hike come alive with stories about the area’s archaeology, early explorers and writers, and the Indigenous history of the canyon. The lunch was delicious, everything was flawlessly organized, and there’s no way we could’ve gotten this much out of the day on our own. Absolutely worth every penny

Patrick was the best guide we’ve ever had on a tour. He’s extremely knowledgeable, loves sharing his experiences in the Grand Canyon and makes the day fly by. Would recommend him highly for this trip!

Our guides were great! We had a large group and two guides. Some kids struggled with the 3 mile, 2000 vertical foot hike back and Ben was just superb with them. They provided everything including water, trail snacks that were awesome, and hiking poles which were clutch for the hike back up the canyon. The food was great! I hate deli meat, but this wasn’t Slimy gross deli meat, it was fresh turkey and ham on delicious bread. They took note that one child had gluten-free bread, and then brought her a salad instead of pasta salad and a bag of gluten-free Tates cookies. The entire team was so thoughtful and the experience overall was smooth and just made our trip perfect. I would definitely recommend. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for.

We just got back from a trip to the Grand Canyon, and hands down the highlight was our private hike with All Star Grand Canyon Tours -- specifically, our guide, Dave. If we hadn't booked this guided hike, I think the Grand Canyon would have been a bit of a letdown. Like most visitors, we probably would have parked, taken a few photos from the rim, and driven away saying, "Wow, that was big," without ever really experiencing it. Dave changed everything. He made the Canyon feel like ours. The hike was quiet and uncrowded -- he found us a route where it felt like we had one of the most visited national parks in the world all to ourselves. And he knew so much about -- my family learned a ton about the history of the canyon. Plus, he's just a great person to spend the day with. Funny and incredibly passionate about what he does. The lunch he provided was delicious too! Again, this wasn't just a tour. It was an experience that made our trip.

What an amazing experience we had!!! It was just my wife and me for the full day hike. Dave was our guide, and I cannot imagine a more knowledgeable and insightful leader - - he took us to some fantastic places, and made us wish that we could have continued for another ten days! If anyone tells me that they are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, I will push them to get in touch with the All-Stars, and to ask for Dave! Thank you!!

It is a great way to see the Grand Canyon if you are not planning to hike down to the bottom. We saw amazing viewpoints, wildlife and trekked a portion of the rim walk. Very good and abundant lunch. Our guide, Dave, was nice, very good with kids and very knowledgeable about the Canyon and the area.

David Spies was an EXCELLENT guide! This was our first Grand Canyon hike and we chose to do the Bright Angel Trail. David is a highly experienced hiker himself and knows how to ensure a wonderful experience! He can judge ability of hikers and adjust accordingly. He even prepares a delicious lunch and escorts you off the beaten path to have a private little break. We will be back to hike the GC again — but definitely want to do it with David!

We had an incredible experience with Ben and the All-Star Grand Canyon Team! Despite early morning snow, Ben did everything possible to preserve our all-day hike reservation. During the actual hike, Ben explained how the canyon was formed, talked about its history, and pointed out the many details you'd otherwise miss. He supplied all the necessary hiking gear and provided a great lunch. Every detail exceeded expectations! Our family highly recommends Ben and his team!
