Set off on a journey to experience the city like locals as you travel by boat, heading to Bangkok’s old city, or Rattanakosin. Along the way, you will be entertained with insider stories of Bangkok’s landmarks. Arriving at the old city area, you will visit some of our favourite, must-see temples: The Grand Palace and Wat Pho and marvel at the unique and beautiful style of Thai temple architecture. Your guide will return you back to the original meeting point at the end of the tour.

Please note: Long pants and short or long sleeve shirts are required for entry to the Royal Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Tank tops are not allowed. Proper footwear is also required. Sandals are ok with something around the heel, but flip flops are not allowed. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are never a bad idea for Bangkok weather!

We had a wonderful private tour of the Grand Palace and temples along the river in Bangkok with Sarida! It was so great to have someone so knowledgeable and attentive taking us around. It made the day effortless and so much more enjoyable. We had a group of five between the ages of 15 and 52 and it was a great experience for everyone. We enjoyed it so much that we also had Taste Of Thailand and Sarida take on two more days of tours for us during our stay. We did a private tuk tuk tour at night with great views of the city all lit up and wonderful food stops, including a stroll through Chinatown. Another day we went on a full day tour out of the city to see the floating market and the train market on the way to the beach. Everything was arranged ahead of time, including pick up and transportation, and we were even able to make some stops along the way to taste some local specialties. So much of what we experienced would never have been possible without a local leading the way, Best of all, we were able to relax on our vacation as plans were handled! We highly recommend Taste Of Thailand for any food tours and/or excursions on your trip to Thailand.

My friend and I did a half day tour of some of the big temples in Bangkok with SaSa - it was awesome! She took great care of us, gave us just the right about of information and was so accommodating and helpful - she went above and beyond! Would highly recommend this tour...and SaSa!

We were all over Thailand and this tour was still one of our favorites! Bella knows her stuff! She knows her history but she also knows the times to be at certain places to avoid the crowds and where and when to stop for food to cool off. This tour exceeded all expectations we had. If you are in Thailand this is a must!! Tour guides make the tour ask for Bella.

Highly recommend this guided tour. Katy did a tremendous job. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to get to know. She made to tour great fun. Highlights were the Reclining Buddha and Imperial Palace. Really enjoyed the local mango and spice as a nice treat.
