Manuel and Ruth were the perfect team!! On the way to our destination Manuel explained what we would see with regional facts and interesting pictures. We learned about the languages-surrounding areas-wildlife-economy. All done informally and with humor . It was great to have a learning opportunity while riding instead of just us talking . Very helpful during our actual tour . He was with us the whole time except during free exploring. Went to the nicest authentic Mexican restaurant. Just a little open air place on a side street must people would bypass. It was wonderful!! Included in the tour. We could watch them making the tacos. On the way to the next destination he explained what would happen there (cenote swimming). That was great because we saw people having to backtrack because they missed a few of the required steps before entering. He also on the way still talked with us . Ruth was our driver!!! Fantastic !! My husband is handicapped and needed help in and out of the van . She had him in his chair before we could all get out every time . Very patient (they both were) working him. We would highly recommend this private tour . Manuel was by far the best tour guide we had and Ruth the best driver. Hopefully if you take this tour you will be lucky enough to have Manuel as your guide. You will come away with knowing more about the area that was helpful in other aspects of our trip.

What a great way to see these amazing incredible places in Tulum — aka “stinky soul” or “zama” as we learned from José Manuel. The whole experience was seamless and easy from pick up to drop of. Our favorite things were all the knowledge that José Manuel dropped about the Mayan culture in the past as well the fauna today and the special meal at the end. José Manuel made us feel right at home and I appreciated his quick tips throughout the whole tour. The cenotes were great after the sun at the Ruins and José Manuel stayed with our stuff so we could save money by not using lockers. He even was sure to ask us after the first stop what our preference was for the next: food or cenote. Glad we chose cenote so we could just experience the food coma from a local delicious meal in Tulum.

We had a great time on our day trip to Tulum and the cenotes. Jose Manuel was a knowledgeable guide and went out of his way to exceed our expectations. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who wants an educational and fun day trip!
