Batuan Temple
Batuan Temple is one of the most popular and beautiful village temple which is part of three major temples in a village that is called Tri Kahyangan, and designed with Balinese architecture with split gates, stone guardians, thatched shrines, and detailed carvings. Puseh Batuan is one of the oldest Puseh temples in Bali, where this temple is located in Batuan village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. This temple has been built for a long time, where in 1022 AD, the concept of this village was actually introduced by Mpu Kuturan who came to Bali in 1001 AD, where this concept aims to unite community groups in Bali at that time so that they can worship God in the form of gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Of course, the construction of Pura Puseh is the beginning of the history of Hindu civilization in Bali.
