Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Get ready to be picked up from your hotel. There you can stop at the popular sacred monkey forest, where you will find around 700 Balinese long tailed macaques in wild. Walk along the 12,5 hectares forest as the perfect place for the healthy monkeys. Find three temples inside guarded by the monkeys live in harmony.

Tirta Empul Temple

We will stop in Balinese Temple Tirta Empul is a popular spot for ritual purification. According to the legend, Indra, a Hindu god, created the spring that feeds the temple's 13 fountains, infusing it with magical powers as he did. Locals follow the Hindu religion bathe in the holy water to cleanse their souls and ward off evil. It's a great place to experience a truly special cultrural tradition.

    we had the best day out visiting the monkey forest, rice terrace and batuan temple! What made it even better was our tour guide Tut! He made the experience so much fun and shared so much local knowledge with us. Tut really went out of his way to provide us with a day we will never forget!     Tut was an incredible tour guide from start to finish. He gave us such a warm welcome when picking us up from our villa and instantly made us feel comfortable. From Monkey Forest to the rice terraces (where he encouraged me to conquer my fear and do the zip line, so grateful!), every stop was amazing. At the temple, his knowledge and passion really stood out. So many laughs, great music, and he genuinely took such great care of us all day. An unforgettable experience and a day out not to miss. Highly recommend thanks again Tut!

    A good private tour to see highlights of Ubud. Enjoyed rice terraces and tenple visit the best. Ketut was a lovely guide. Only callout is the itinerary is not clear around water temple (whats involved to wear etc) so missed out and what waterfall as already went on another tour. Beware the cheeky monkeys!

    We had an absolutely wonderful day with Bayu. He is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring. You feel safe and relaxed with him from the very first moment. His English is excellent, so communication was always smooth and easy, and he explained everything clearly throughout the day.
