I can't say we were very impressed with this tour. It ran smoothly and our driver was on time, but it was a long ride for what we experienced. The Uluwatu temple is mostly closed, as it is used for religious purposes only, but it's a nice setting on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The Kecak dance on this beautiful site was unfortunately average in our opinion; there are about 50 guys yelling chakachak all the time, while a few dancers with nice costumes come in and out during the show. We left halfway during the show to go to our dinner. The seafood dinner was pretty good and our plates were full, but it could have been warmer. The setting is right on the beach in Jimbaran and we had musicians that came to our table to entertain us for a tip, that was nice. Our guide Nyoman was friendly, but his english was a little bit hard to understand. He didn't provide us with valuable information about history or culture, he was mostly a driver.

We had a truly unforgettable evening with Eco Bali Tours . Our guide Gusti was informative and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We arrived at Uluwatu Temple just in time to take in the breathtaking cliffside views as the sun began to set. Be aware of the monkeys at Uluwatu—they can be aggressive and are more unpredictable than those at the Monkey Forest. Keep your belongings close! The Kecak and Fire Dance was absolutely mesmerizing—over 50 performers chanting in unison, telling a dramatic story with so much energy and rhythm. We were lucky to catch the first show at 6:00 PM, which allowed us to enjoy the full sunset backdrop. After the performance, we headed to Jimbaran Beach for a delicious seafood dinner right on the sand. The seafood dinner with set menu had a lovely setting, but the food was average and the long drive made it feel a bit drawn out. dining by candlelight with the sound of the waves was the perfect way to end the evening. It’s a nice experience overall, but the dinner could be skipped if you’re short on time.

The was a good trip, our guide Sila, was very friendly and provided us with a good tour. We stopped off at a coffee tasting experience, which was okay although I would suggest making sure you have some very good mosquito repellent!! The Temple tour was a little brief. The actual Kecak show was really amazing, the seating was very busy and not particularly comfortable. If you have problems sitting on hard surfaces for sometime without back support maybe not for you. Glad we booked as it's really busy and having a guide helps to navigate the system easier.
