In the Middle Ages Kutna Hora was the second most important town in the Bohemian kingdom after Prague, due to its huge resources of silver. This private tour comprises St.Barbara church, an impressive example of 14th-century gothic architecture, the Royal Mint, where the production of the world-famous Prague’s Grossus took place, and the Bone Church, whose interior is made out of human bones! Visit these landmarks with our private guide and feel the atmosphere of the medieval mine, all of which is part of Unesco World Heritage site. Entrance fees to the Bone Church, St. Barbara church and the church of the assumption of our Lady are included in the price of the tour.

5.00I took my two teenage nephews & we had a great time! Jan was an excellent tour guide with great historical perspective on the places we visited. The bone church is a absolutely mind blowing when you let it sink in... totally worth the long drive from Prague!

5.00We had an excellent time in Kutna Hora exploring the town, Sedlec Ossuary, St Barbara’s Cathedral and more. Lunch was great and our guide Petr was extremely knowledgeable about the town, the sites and the history of the Czech Republic. He was very engaging and took care of everything. It was a fantastic day!

5.00LUCY TOURS AND EVA SAVED OUR TRIP!! Unfortunately before we found Lucy tours we had a couple of bad experiences due to having twin toddlers and not feeling welcomed. We called Lucy Tours and told them what happened and they set us up for great tours! It completely turned our trip around. Eva was enthusiastic about having the kids and very informative about the history! We felt so welcomed and so taken care of! Even our driver was excellent. These prices are excellent for the experience!! If you have children I would not recommend anyone but Lucy Tours and ask for Eva!! Kutna Hora is a beautiful place to see and I wouldn’t miss out!

1.00Biggest disappointment of our trip. Mostly this was a transportation service, not a tour. We had stated that there was a baby on this excursion. I guess somehow the information did not make it to the driver so our baby did not have a seat for the entire 3 hour drive. The driver was nice, but didn’t share much info at all. Our family would’ve been safer and far more engaged if we had rented our own vehicle vehicle and driven or used public transportation.

5.00A nice diversion from Prague! Only about an hour away through the beautiful Czech countryside. Pre-tour communication from Lucy Tours and our guide Petr Kotlar was excellent. Very responsive in responding to several pre-tour questions. He arrived early and was immediately welcoming and professional. We shared our interests and the pace we normally like on our tours, and he planned the rest of the day accordingly. Petr was extremely knowledgeable and personable sharing much of the general local history during our time together. In Kunta Hora, he expertly guided us around a number of large, guided tours which kept our time their enjoyable. Definite recommend as an alternative to touring Prague!
