What To Expect
Wawel Royal Castle
Historic castle complex located on Wawel Hill, overlooking the Vistula River. It is one of the most significant cultural and architectural landmarks in Poland and a symbol of Polish national pride.
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Auschwitz was the main and most famous of the six concentration and extermination camps established by Germany to implement the Final Solution policy, which aimed at the mass murder of European Jews. It was built in German-occupied Poland, initially as a concentration camp for Poles, later also for other nationalities. To get to know the place, it is necessary to visit both parts of the former camp - Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. We have to spend about 2 hours to stay in Auschwitz and about 1 hour to Birkenau.

5.00We arranged a private tour to Auschwitz in early January with Oskar. He met us promptly at our hotel in a very comfortable car for the 3 of us. He went out of his way to be flexible and accommodate our tight schedule even arranging box lunches for us to eat in the car after the tour. The tour itself was very moving and a must see experience. Oskar met us when we exited with our museum-assigned guide and took us to our hotel for a quick stop an then a drop off at our next event. 5 stars for sure on this service, maybe even 6 if that was an option!

He was very informative and nothing too much trouble. His restaurant recommendations are also excellent! Auschwitz is an unparalleled experience. Everyone should do it if they have the opportunity.

On the day of our visit our pick up was smooth the ride was comfortable and quick. Oskar helped us navigate the entry and made sure we had what we needed throughout the day. 5.00Going to Auschwitz is so much easier with a driver and guide. In all the grind of our previous travels, it was nice to just have someone else take care of us and always point us in the right direction. We so appreciated Oskar and his wife Aleksandra for all their help in our Auschwitz and Birkenau tours. They are the best even with taking us for really good Polish sausage in the woods on the way back to our hotel!

5.00Oskar was amazing. We had an issue with a last minute booking and he went above and beyond to help me get last minute tickets. He told me it didn't happen often (so keep your expectations low), but...it did happen. Oskar called ahead and sent a team to the museum. He had great follow up and I am really grateful. This tour is sobering and tough to get through, but everyone should do it to really understand the scale of the horror. Thank you Oskar and team!
