What To Expect
The Classical Gardens of Suzhou
Meet your excellent English-speaking guide at your hotel lobby at 8:00 am or your preferred departure time, then take 90 minutes ride in comfortable & air-conditioned vehicle to Suzhou. This tour offers both "All Inclusive" and "Guide & Transfer" tour options, choose the one fits your needs upon booking. Typically, you will start your tour with "Garden of Cultivation" first, which is one of the best preserved examples of a Ming Dynasty classical garden in Suzhou with 479 years old, hidden behind the deep living alleys, more peaceful and quite. If you have any special requests, please feel free to discuss with your guide directly.
Shantang Street
Then you will have a nice walk from garden to Shantang Street. Your lovely local guide will show you the ancient city gate "Chang Gate", which is one of the eight city gates at ancient Suzhou with over 2000 years old, great place today to discover local life.

5.00We were picked up at our hotel as promised by the driver and Ms Kelly. Ms Kelly explained what is to be expected during the trip. The driver then drove us to Suzhou, where we met Ms Jenny. Ms Jenny was very friendly and informative. We really enjoyed and cherish our trip in Suzhou. We would recommende this tour to everybody 👍🏼

5.00This was a personalised tour for a family of 4 with our own guide & vehicle. The guide spoke excellent English, was very informative about the cultural aspects of our destination & took excellent care of my family (that included 2 young kids). Would highly recommend this tour operator.

5.00We were looked after like royalty for the whole day by our main guide Kelly, joined by Jenny during while we were in Suzhou. Both of our guides were highly intelligent and knowledgeable. They were also really friendly, and they went out of their way to make our private tour special. They even discussed some different options with us, so our tour was tailored to our preferences. The city of Suzhou itself is unmissable. It's hard to pick a highlight, but the river cruise stands out as unforgettable. We didn't want the day to end. Based on our experience I'd recommend Shanghai Melody unreservedly!
