Kekova Kayak tour begin with a safety briefing and paddle instruction and then the fun begins!
You will then enter the water at 09:00 and start your first paddling session from Üçağiz to get accustomed to the kayak and practice proper navigation.
We depart Ucagiz at 09:20 am with motorized support vessel to escort us, and paddle southwest down the coast towards the Kekova Island and arrive Tersane bay at 10:15 am and followed by a swimming break.
From there the group will slowly paddle over the ancient Lycian Sunken City of Kekova.
After an exciting of adventure, we’ll head to Simena Castle and arrive at 11:30 am, park in Kaleköy (ancient Simena Castle) for 45 mins. A hike up the hillside will give you magnificent views of the Kekova region.
In the afternoon we head back towards Theimussa for an up close view of more impressive Lycian sarcophagi and then return to our Kayak base.
Following this you will move on to Üçağiz to enjoy lunch at 13:15 pm

5.00Fantastic sights and photos, unreal mix of Mediterranean blue water, small islands, hidden coves, and friendly people. The private tour got us away from the big groups of kayakers and allowed us to move at our pace through the sights. A few stops to snorkel off the beaches, an ice cream stop at a 2000 year old tomb, and a good guided kayak over the sunken city. We finished up kayaking by the Lycian necropolis before sitting down to a fresh Turkish coastal lunch of grilled fish and local salad with herbs. A great half-day trip! Note the trip requires a lot of getting in and out of kayaks on sharp/slippery rocks. Our guide was on time, knowledgeable, and eager to point out interesting sites. All communications were by WhatsApp, which worked fine. Parking is at a lot in town for 150TL cash.

5.00It was the perfect amount of exercise, we even had an accompanying boat with us that carried our stuff and was ensuring our safety. The guidance was amazing, we learned so mich about the history of the place. And the lunch was great, with the freshest fish possible and a supper balanced meal. Truly 5/5

5.00Great kayak tour to visit the sunken ruins, with 2 swimming stops. Wonderful landscapes!! Then return to the port for lunch, very good too. All in a good mood with a top guide! We can only recommend it!!
