The Gemini Freestyle 40' power catamaran is known for its speed and stability while still maintaining comfort allowing guests to stay dry. It truly is the most comfortable power catamaran on the island. MV Hyrdra has everything you need for a private charter for up to 12 guests. Swim with the turtles and see amazing fish and colorful coral using our brand new snorkel equipment.

Your private charter includes all U.S. national park fees, snorkeling gear, water, ice, soda, and ice cold beer.

MV Hydra features a FUSION stereo to listen to your favorite tunes. The bow offers spacious walk thru seating, transom seats and our custom bean bag chairs. The stern of the yacht has expansive seating covered and uncovered on our custom marine couches. A bathroom complete with washdown areas add to your comfort.

Seas the Day USVI is dedicated to a healthy experience. We have partnered with RayBiotech and all of our Captains and Crew are tested for Covid 19 each month. You will see each wearing a Covid Free bracelet. Each of our vessels are sanitized after each trip using established CDC and WHO guidelines. Since this is primarily an outdoor activity, masks are not required but can be worn by our guests if preferred.

What To Expect

Set off on an unforgettable 7-hour boat excursion from Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and explore the best of the U.S. Virgin Islands by sea. Your journey begins in the historic harbor, offering stunning views of colonial architecture and cruise ships before cruising past Water Island and into the turquoise Caribbean waters. Your first stop may be Buck Island, home to a protected marine sanctuary and the famous Turtle Cove. Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs and spot sea turtles and tropical fish in crystal-clear waters. Then head toward St. John, where you’ll explore the island’s pristine north shore. Stop at Honeymoon Beach or Maho Bay, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and spotting sea turtles grazing in the shallow waters. Next, cruise to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island, a secluded stretch of white sand with calm, inviting waters and a laid-back beach bar atmosphere—ideal for relaxing or paddleboarding. Finish the day at Brewers Bay, a scenic spot near the University of the Virgin Islands known for its peaceful vibe, excellent snorkeling, and chances to see sea turtles. My daughter and I had an unforgettable snorkeling trip! We got to swim alongside sea turtles, rays, and so many colorful fish - it truly felt like we were in a nature documentary. The water at Turtle Cove and Honeymoon beach was crystal clear. Both stops offered something new and exciting! Captain Rusty was the best! He was funny, knowledgeable and passionate about the islands. This was one of the highlights of our vacation, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure on (and under!) the water. St. Thomas is our favorite vacation destination and Seas the Day is the only way to go!

Captain Rusty did an awesome job with everyone on his boat. He put everyone on the trip as his priority and had a lot of great information about the places we explored and the snorkeling was great in both places. We saw turtles and a 4ft barracuda that was curious lol. Will do it again with them. Thank you for the great experience

Captain Wallens was very informative and made every person on board feel safe, while also providing a relaxing experience on the water! Our first stop was Maho Bay and we were lucky enough to see some very large sea turtles. Then we jetted off to Carvel Rock where Captain Wallens informed us that sailors would have to unload their ammo (cannons) before entering the harbors. Our last stop was Congo Cay and had a fabulous time snorkeling!

Had a great day with Seas the Day Charters with captain Bryan and first mate Kianna. Snorkeling experience was wonderful, saw lots of marine life, including sea turtles. Bryan’s suggestion of lunch in Lovango was spot on and delicious. Thank you for an amazing day!

We had the most wonderful day with Captain Aaron!!! My husband and I went on a full day tour aboard MV Hydra. Aaron showed us all of the sights and gave us so much information. He helped us get comfortable with snorkeling in deep water. I would highly recommend this boat and Captain!! This exceeded all of our expectations!!

We had the best time on our all day private catamaran excursion. Captain Aaron and Coleman made our trip so memorable by taking us to the best snorkeling spots and getting us to Water Island for lunch and swimming. They were truly the best and it honestly felt like we were out there with friends. This was truly a 5 star experience for my family of 5 including 3 kids ages 7, 12 and 14👍

Capt Bryan and Caitlyn were great!! They were patient as we were running late, very informative about the land and gave lots of cool fun facts, very transparent about pricing and they kept the ride fun and gave us a great experience for the time we had!!! Definitely recommend and would book again for future vacations!

Billy and Kianna were great. Cool stories about the islands, great advice on where to snorkel - and we saw over 10 turtles, several rays and lots of cool fish. We had adults and kids on our trip and it was fun for everyone! Highly recommended.
