Take a night trip to Batu Caves, Malaysia's most visited Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan. Embark on a scenic 45-minute drive from your hotel, where your driver-guide will share fascinating insights into the history and significance of the caves. Marvel at the sight of the towering limestone hills and the illuminated 140-foot golden statue of Lord Murugan, illuminated against the night sky. Climb the 272 colorful steps to the main cave temple, where you'll be able to notice the night prayers and witness the traditional Hindu customs that take place during these prayers. Conclude your evening with a delicious vegetarian South Indian dinner at a nearby restaurant before a comfortable drive back to your hotel.

Batu Caves
The Batu Caves are a limestone hill comprising a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Malaysia, just north of Kuala Lumpur. Our thanks to Steven for a tour we enjoyed. An evening tour which included dinner at a South Indian restaurant. Pick up was at KLCC and we were dropped off at our hotel near KLCC. Steven was friendly and helpful and was happy to answer our many questions.
