Upon arrival at the olive oil mill, visitors can see the Olive press open-air museum, which has 100 years of history. See how this product created from the olive tree until the growing process and all the way through its storage and bottling. Continuing to the modern facilities of the unit, guests can see the latest olive oil processing machinery and olive oil production. A video with the harvest and the production in progress will be shown. Taste olives with rosemary, garlic or lemon with fresh homemade bread. This unique olive oil experience will teach you how to choose the best olive oil for your cooking. An English-speaking hostess and olive oil expert with positive vibes will be glad to guide you!

What To Expect
Katakolo Port
Our driver will pick you up from Katakolo port or at a nearby hotel. Enjoy the view of the picturesque little port of Katakolo.
Krestena
1 hour Drive to Krestena through a very nice road where you will see nice traditional villages. At Krestena you will arrive to a traditional olive farm where you will get to vist the museum and then enjoy the olive tasting experience. (visit the olive farm for 1 hour)

5.00Very nice, informative tour! Highly recommend Dimitri! We went to an olive oil tasting and a delicious lunch at a local tavern in Katakolo! Our driver even bought us a coffee! Very friendly and funny!

5.00We REALLY enjoyed this tour! The olive mill tour was great. Local family that was very kind and informative. We love to cook and appreciated the process and quality of their product and we purchased many bottles. That said, the highlight was our driver, Andreas!!! He was very kind, hospitable and flexible with our schedule. The peace of mind knowing we had reliable transportation to/from our cruise terminal made this tour worth every penny. The end of our tour was at a local restaurant for lunch and it was the best food we’ve had in Greece. We would recommend this tour to everyone!

5.00The tour was beautiful we did it for my mom’s birthday. Our driver Costas was very nice and hospitable. Very knowledgeable. We did the olive oil tour and ate delicious food at a restaurant. The weather was rainy so we could not take pictures in the mountains but all around great experience.

5.00Great day with Dimitris! He was there waiting for us as we exited the cruise port terminal. He is very knowledgeable about the area and a great down to earth gentleman. Dimitris first took us to an olive mill factory for a tour and a tasting which was very good! He then showed us few scenic spots for photos and even stopped for me to take some photos with the olive trees. Our last stop was a family run restaurant with traditional Greek dishes. The owners spoke no English so Dimitris took care of the order. We were served many courses including homemade bread, wine and dessert. The food kept coming and was delicious!! We sat out on the patio and we felt like we were in our grandparents backyard! Dimitris made sure that we were back at the terminal well before the cruise departure. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00Our tour included a tour of Oilympian Koufolias Olive Oil Mill, an amazing, authentic greek lunch at Ταβέρνα Της Μαχης restaurant in Korakochori & the best part - tour guide Vicky. She was very knowledgeable and personable, and even helped us ordering at the restaurant. There were very few people on the tour, and in the restaurant, and very little traffic - a refreshing change from all of our other excursions. This tour was beyond great!

5.00Wonderful experience! Demetrius took great care of us and I can't say enough about our experience. He took some extra time so we could see the Olympic Ruins before our olive oil factory tour. The tour was fun, and after he took us to a great "mom and pop" restaurant for lunch, which was beyond our expectations. My husband mentioned that it was my birthday, and Demetrius got a small gift for me before picking us up from the Olympic Ruins. I just cannot say enough good about him or our experience on this tour.

5.00Dimitris our driver took extra special care of us, getting us to all our destinations quickly and safe, and showed us some hidden views and spots to stop. The oil rafting was great and we bought some to be shipped home. Would highly recommend.

5.00The reason I am raising this so high is our driver knew the spots to go to after the Olive Oil tasting. That didn’t take very long to see and have the taste. We did buy some olive oil because it is amazing. I don’t know about the lunch part of this tour because we paid for everything else we did including lunch. But I am not complaining at all. We went to a family run honey farm next as suggested by our driver. €10 each There we had coffee and juice while we waited for the beekeeper to do the presentation. She showed us that really beekeeping hasn’t. Hanged in over 4,000 years! We tasted spoon sweets during that portion. Then we went to taste the honey and also a sample of bee salve. We bought honey and bee salve. It is a natural antiseptic. Then we went to Olympia for lunch and had bevvies and pizza and Greek salad. Some shopping and then it was off to a wine tasting. That was 20€ each This was a great tour and we had a fabulous day.

5.00Fabulous tour! How the olives are harvested and processed was very interesting. The oil tasting was fun too! Our driver George was great we loved chatting with him and learning about life in Greece. Then he took us to a small family owned restaurant for lunch. It wat the highlight of our 17 day trip! The place was beautiful and the food...oh my! It was wonderful!! Everything was fresh and delicious!! Awesome tour!!!
