Czech cuisine relies heavily on meat, milk, and butter. If you're vegan or lactose-intolerant, we won’t be able to feed you properly here in Prague.
Our tours run rain or shine. Make sure to check the weather forecast and come prepared with an umbrella.
Comfort is key on our tours, so we recommend wearing shoes that can handle Prague's famous cobblestones and dressing for the weather.
The amount of walking varies, let us know in advance if you have mobility issues.

What To Expect
We'll meet in the center for your convenience but don't worry, we won't stay here for long! Your guide will wait for you in front of the main entrance to the Municipal House, an Art-Nouveau building that houses the famous Smetana Concert Hall as well as a number of wonderful restaurants and wine bars.

5.00What an absolutely spectacular time we had with Will! One of our biggest highlights from Prague :) Will had done his research on us beforehand and had thoughtfully curated a list of restaurants and hidden gems keeping our preferences and likes in mind, which we further customized after meeting us. He effortlessly led the tour, moving from one spot to another while keeping it informational yet super fun! The Vin Chaud and sausages at the locals Christmas Market, local crafter beer and the ice cream with Prague-specific flavors were our favorites. Also, Will was so easy to connect with and made us feel like a friend from the get-go. Thank you for the wonderful tour and your generosity throughout =) Loved his recommendations for Prague (and Strasbourg) too!

5.00Six years ago my wife and I did the Old Town Food Tour with Prague City Adventures. Johanka was our guide and we had a fantastic time with great food. When we booked a return trip to Prague, one of the first things we did was reach out to Johanka and Prague City Adventures. We knew we wanted to do another food tour with Johanka. She offered us a new one, this time in the Karlin area of Prague. She took us to several restaurants, each with different but excellent food. We had a variety of foods, from traditional Czech, to newer foods like Ukrainian and Vietnamese. One thing I really enjoy about Johanka’s tours is that her tours also include a lot of history as well as the food. Johanka also answered many questions and offered advice things to do and places to visit.

5.00Our guide Nicola and the food tour were fantastic! We learned a lot about Czech history and culture and experienced local dishes with a modern twist. The food was delicious! Nicola took us to four very different and fun settings -- places we never would have visited on our own. This tour and our guide were the highlight of our trip!

5.00We booked a walking food tour for the day we arrived. Great decision. We got dinner and a good idea of some of the areas. Michaela personally guided our tour. She was engaging and personal. Her selections on where to go were spot on. We subsequently asked for additional help securing a car and driver to get us to Prague and she was happy to help. We would do this tour again without hesitation.

5.00My mom and I took this tour with Misa (Michaela) in early August. We had a BLAST! The first stop was for chlebicky, these incredible open faced sandwiches with counter service. Highly recommend the brie and salami, my mom was a fan of the potato salad. Misa kept us walking in the shade on a hot summer day, which I really appreciated. She is so thoughtful and friendly! We spent all of the time talking about food, the history of food, and how that history intersected with the history of Prague. We went to an amazing venue with beef stew and yogurt based coleslaw which lives in my dreams since then. We also had local Czech beer here as the brewery was right outside. :) The ice cream was life changingly creamy, recommend the pistachio or sweet cream. We were getting full at this point but then we got to go to a czech restaurant and eat a trio of delicious things: fermented cheese (don't sleep on this), goulash, and another carrot-based stew with dumplings that I forgot the name of. It had cranberry jelly and whipped cream and sirloin steak; so good, trust me! We had some local wine at this point. We ended with coffee at a local student-led cafe. Overall, we had a blast on this tour and would highly recommend it!
