Our guide, Ximena, was very knowledge and brought us to some great places to try food, from a market for fruits and pulked pork plates to a truly magnificent been to bar Chocklatier. She us birn and raised in Quito and knows so much about the city.

Marcelo was a wonderful tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about so much not just food. We had a great variety of experiences. We went to the farmer's market and sampled fresh fruits and local dishes at the food court. Then we went to the hill with Virgin Mary statue and sampled delicious empanadas and local drink canelazo at the food court there. Then headed to a great walking tour of old Town and experienced a chocolate shop that presented the history of Ecuadorian chocolate and of course had lots of yummy samples.
