What To Expect
Sigiriya
Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress in Sri Lanka. Built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa, it served as a royal palace and later a Buddhist monastery. The site features impressive frescoes, landscaped gardens, and a giant lion-shaped entrance carved into the rock. Rising 200 meters above the jungle, Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks.

5.00We had the most amazing experience with our driver during our 8-day trip around Sri Lanka, traveling from Negombo to Jaffna, Kandy, and Bentota with our whole family (including a toddler and grandparents). He drove us so safely the entire time, always thought through the best routes, and made sure everyone was comfortable. His high-roof van was super roomy and comfortable, which made a huge difference on longer drives. What really stood out was how much he genuinely looked after us — he even helped us out during a small medical emergency, which we were incredibly grateful for. His English was really good, so it was easy for everyone to chat, ask questions, and feel relaxed the whole trip. He was honestly incredible, and when we go back to Sri Lanka (which we definitely will), we wouldn’t think twice about having him as our driver again. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you for keeping our family safe and taking us all around this beautiful country!

5.00Nadeesha is a good driver, he is always on time and he offers a good price. We were a group of 14 (3 families from Norway) in age from 8 to 50. Nadeesha picked us up in Negombo and drove us to Nilaveli and Kandy. Then he drove our luggage to Ella while we took the train. The most important thing for us was the safety. His van has safety belts on all seats, and he is a very safe and effective driver. We will gladly recommend Nadeesha for your visit in Sri Lanka.

5.00Our driver took 8 of us from Trincomalee to Arugam Bay, and got us there in good time. The van was very spacious and clean with A/C. The driver was very considerate stopping for multiple toilet breaks, waiting while we had a breakfast stop halfway, and dropped us all off individually at our numerous hotels in Arugam Bay. Would recommend!

5.00Tricomalee Max Tours offers exceptional service! Me and 4 friends organized a tour of northern Sri Lanka. We organize the tour with planning 3 months in advance from Spain. The planning was adjusted to detail and to our needs, offering flexibility and guaranteeing our satisfaction at all levels. We felt safe at all times, since we are 5 girls from a foreign country this was important for us. The quality of the service exceeded our expectations and our trip was more than a tour, it was a joint experience that we will not forget. It was very special and they gave us very personal treatment. I recommend it 100%. I chose your services after filtering more than 100 messages from different companies. I found him direct, honest and fair, with nothing to hide. Communication was fluid and reasonable solutions were always proposed to unforeseen events that arose during the trip.
