5.00The shuttle was timely and the driver was professional. The van was comfortable. Driver carried our luggage to hotel lobby, which was very appreciated. We used this service for both from and to the airport. Highly recommended.

5.00We booked Get To Know Belize for our transportation to/from the airport and Hopkins and for a Mayan ruins tour for our first visit to Belize, with 12 family members in tow. Dirk and Sean (hope I’m spelling correctly) were amazing as our drivers. Safe, professional, very friendly and accommodating. Can’t say enough good things about them. Sean was the driver for the first half of our family that arrived in Belize. He pointed out things of interest for us during the 2hr drive to Hopkins and answered all of questions (we had many since we were all excited being here for the first time). He noticed we were trying to take pictures of the different animal crossing signs along the highway and without us having to ask, he pulled over to make sure we had a good shot. We had Dirk as our driver several times. He pointed out many things of note during each drive, giving us some history of the area as well as facts regarding the people, wildlife and geography of Belize. The drive to the Xunantunich Maya archaeological site was over 2 hours long but felt much shorter as Dirk was pointing out features of the region we were passing through and told local stories. Shani was our Xunantunich guide and she was amazing as well. She made sure we were as comfortable as we could be during the hike up the hill to the site and up the pyramid itself as it was very warm that day. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and was very engaging with the little ones in our family. I highly recommend GTKB for any their services, particularly the transportation and Mayan tours. Also, Dirk is a fun DJ! i ran into him in Hopkins over at Ella’s bar one night before I even knew he was our driver. He wears many hats in town!

Our drivers, Shane and Aldn, were both amazing—professional, friendly, and full of knowledge about Belize. They didn’t just get us safely from point A to point B; they turned each ride into a mini tour. We learned so much about Belizean history, local culture, and even everyday life in the area. Their pride and love for their country really came through in the stories they shared. The vehicles were comfortable, clean, and always on time, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. We can’t recommend this service enough—it’s the perfect way to travel between destinations while getting to truly get to know Belize!
