5.00We had Simon for private lessons, he was amazing. He choose a place tailored to our skill level and he is the perfect teacher with a calming positive energy. Would highly recommend this to anyone new or wanting to improve their current skill level. We have been to other surf school that are glorified board hires, Simon gave us helpful advice that made us progress in the 2 hours of surfing. We will definitely be back i highly recommend this company and their excellent instructors.

5.00These guys are awesome! I’m new to WA and Margz. I’d been “surfing” on and off for a few years but hadn’t been out in a while and had lost a lot of confidence. I booked a private lesson with Josh—he was super approachable, friendly, and explained things really simply. We headed out to a great break at Grunters, and I was catching waves right from the start. Simon, the owner, was also a legend—super friendly also and easy to deal with. I’d definitely recommend Margaret River Surfing Academy to anyone keen to learn or get back into surfing. 5.00My parents and I decided to learn to surf whilst here on holiday from England so we signed up for a group lesson. The instructors were super friendly and encouraging. We told them we had some worries about sharks etc. but they had all the facts on hand and made us feel safe and from that point we didn’t worry. They gave us all a quick run through of the basics before we went in the sea. In the sea, they spent time individually with everyone giving tips and pointers based on how each of us were getting on. We had a mix of completely new people and some people who had some surf experience and they catered to us all perfectly. We had such a good time we signed up for another lesson two days later!

5.00We visited Margaret River with our teenage sons and they were very keen to surf. We contacted Simon a couple of months before to organise board hire. He returned our email promptly and we picked up the boards from Grace Point as we drove into to the region. Simon made sure the boards were appropriate fir the boys level and told us all the best places to surf and times that would suit the weather and tides. We also hired another board for an adult friend we were travelling with and he was also very impressed with Simon's service and the boards offered. Thanks fir making our trip to Margaret River so special Simon.
