Our private tour of Castillo de Chapultepec was one of the highlights of our visit to Mexico City. The castle itself is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning architecture, beautifully maintained gardens, and panoramic views of the city that are simply unforgettable. What made the experience truly exceptional was having a knowledgeable private guide who brought the history of Mexico to life. From the stories of Emperor Maximilian and Empress Carlota to the significance of the Niños Héroes and Mexico's rich political history, every room and exhibit became much more meaningful through their detailed explanations. The pace of the tour was perfect, allowing us to fully appreciate the museum, artwork, and historical artifacts without feeling rushed. We also had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take photos of the spectacular views overlooking Chapultepec Park and Mexico City. If you're looking for a deeper understanding of Mexican history while enjoying one of the most beautiful landmarks in the country, I highly recommend booking a private tour of Castillo de Chapultepec. It was educational, engaging, and well worth every minute. A must-do experience for anyone visiting Mexico City! 🇲🇽🏰✨

Our guide Jorge with Aztec Guides was amazing. We are a family of 5 ranging from 18 to 86 and his talk and pace met the needs of every family member. We can’t say enough positive things about Jorge. Highly recommend!

Today we toured Chapultepec Castle with a large group of friends. Our guide Jorge Ramirez was very knowledgeable of Mexican history and the story of the castle. He was entertaining and sometimes funny and made the whole experience quite enjoyable. Definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting CDMX.

Experience was great, a tour I didn't know I needed. Jorge was our guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Jorge even had physical cards to point to, and he is very helpful with local questions and suggestions for activities.

I do not recommend this tour. Maybe our issue is limited to our specific guide, but I booked this tour based on the 5 star reviews by over 100 people. However, we did not receive a 5 star experience. Our tour guide was a few mins late and didn’t have our tickets purchased prior to his arrival. So he spent our entire walk to the castle on his phone buying them, not interacting with us at all. We talked to him more than he talked to us. We immediately felt unwelcome and like he was only giving us a tour to check us off his list for the day. Then when we got to the entry to scan our tickets, he got his phone out to scan his ticket and didn’t show our tickets at the entry point. So we had to dig our phone out of our bag as he walked into the castle. I will say the tour got better as it went on, but it was very average. The initial 20 mins that we had with our guide set the tone. I would recommend a tour guide as they can provide helpful context in addition to what is included on site. Overall would not recommend booking this tour specifically.
