Tatsu was promoted, understanding, efficient and quick thinking by. He truly represented the Japanese spirit of dedication and kindness making sure we got on the right buses during the tour and at the end waited til we left in our hotel bus for home. He was patient with our very head strong Americanized 4 year old played with her and made her a crane. He was able to help navigate with efficiency and ingenuity when our Hakone pass we bought wouldn’t work a few hours into activating it and we were so grateful that he could communicate with each place and bus we went on to explain our situation and in true Japanese form they were kind enough to let us through as they saw we truly had paid for the pass. I learned so much about each area we went to, he was able to accommodate my husband’s vegetarian diet.and we worked on my Japanese together as we went along our 6 hour tour. We are so grateful to him and would whole heartedly recommend him as a tour guide. We hope if he ever visits the US we can give him he same quality of care he gave us.

Fantastic experience! Tour guide Yoshi was a wonderful guide to the sites, sharing information and history on what I was going to see and gave me time to walk around and souvenir shop at Owakidani and the Open Air Museum. All-around, a wonderful introduction to the area. I wish I'd had more time to explore other sites and enjoy the hot springs more, but this tour covered so much for my short visit. Totally worth it. Highly recommend.

Yoshi was a fabulous tour guide. We had a 6 hour tour of the Hakone area. He was informative, kind, respectful and made sure that we could safely navigate back to our hotel. His English is also very good!

Wonderful day with Masami! Many great sights around Hakone, interesting history, stories and info we would not have otherwise known! Loved what Masami shared about Japanese culture and customs. Made getting around easy so we could just enjoy the experience rather than stressing about how to get around.

We had a lovely day with Mr Koji- we were unlucky that it was a cold day so some of the views were not possible. However we enjoyed the scenery and Mr Koji was very kind and tolerant of our exuberant children. Was very smooth using a guide.

Very nice tour of Hakone with the Munetaka tour guide. The tour was perfectly planned and organized, got a lot of nice and interesting insights. I hadn’t had such a lovely and warm tour guide as Munetaka for a long time who had done a fantastic job.

My tour guide was Tatsu, and he took me around Hakone. A pretty complete tour from the mystical Lake Ashi where I could see fishes jumping, to the 9 headed dragon temple, to the cable car ride up to see where the black eggs are made (and my life extended 7 more years from eating the black eggs), to finally circle back ending with a visit to the open sky museum, which was my highlights. Tatsu spoke 4-5 languages and it was fun learning out his travels and life experiences. I appreciated his accommodations, making everything fit seamlessly in a short amount of time. I was nervous taking the train back to Tokyo as the time was cutting close and the train system was still confusing to me, but Tatsu offered to accompany me since his trip back was similar. I appreciated how attentive he was, especially offering to take photos during the tour. Overall, a great companion for a memorable Hakone tour!

All in all your was very good, one disappointment was that we were not able to go to the shrine in the water...really the one thing I wanted to see! The other thing is that to many people are let onto the boat for the boat trip, so there are not enough seats. Our guide Osamu was fantastic, very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. We really enjoyed him and sharing stories! He was also very helpful in helping us understand the train system for the rest of our trip...he went above and beyond!!
