Booked a private tour for 7 people for Prosciutto, Parmigiano Romano and Balsamic Vinegar. Everything was amazing - the communication before the tour, the guide, and the actual tours. Everyone loved it and it was the highlight of our trip to Italy! Our guide Luca was great and helped with suggestions even after the trip. As per description, our tour included sampling of prosciutto, cheese of different maturation, and balsamic vinegar. It didn’t include breakfast/lunch, but we were not hungry after the tour. We had small kids in the party (5yo and 3yo) and they were not bored during the tour. Also they had car seats ready in the car for them. Would highly recommend!

We traveled through Italy and took various tours, but this was one of the best. Matteo was amazing. He took us to the finest family run prosciutto and balsamic producer to experience the production process firsthand and taste the exceptional products. We also got to see the cheese making process in the Parmesan factory, and taste a variety of cheeses. The pace was perfect; although it was a four hour tour we never felt rushed. We even had time to walk around a beautiful old village. Matteo was very kind and knowledgeable. And the best part was- neither he nor the producers pushed you to buy the products. TBH the products were so good, we ended up buying a whole bunch anyway. The van was immaculate and extremely comfortable, and they were kind enough to take our luggage along and drop us off at the train station after our tour. Book the store and don’t forget to ask for Matteo.

We had a wonderful time visiting the parmigiano, prosciutto, and balsamic factories in the region. This tour was better than the semi-private tours because you could visit all three and be back at your hotel for a later lunch, rather than much later in the day. All three stops were interesting, but the balsamic tour was amazing. You get the opportunity to visit the home of the owner, see their “attic” of balsamic barrels, and get a true history of balsamic production in the region. Frederica (our guide) was incredible. She gave us the history of these three industries in the region and shared her own thoughts on current production methods. She was very engaging and made the trip seem shorter than it was. If you only have a few (like 5) hours and want to explore these exciting food histories, this is a great tour.
