Fabulous day trip with Manny. My husband and I deliberated whether to do a small group or private and private was worth it. With 3 children, the sites are around 2-2.5 hrs away. Private tour allowed stops for snacks and toilet breaks which a coach wouldn't. Manny was really caring and appreciated the importance of family photos. Just having these and someone looking after us was worth it. Plus the history and education was fabulous. The restaurant was amazing especially blue tacos and the cenote was a great experience. My youngest son was quite hesitant as it was so deep but you all have life jackets. We wore water shoes, but lots didn't. Private tour also allows you to miss the crowds. It is a long day, but would have been much longer and tiring with the kids if on a bus. It is a lovely tour company and thank you Manny for the care and attention and history! It was truly unforgettable.

My husband and I only had a few days in Cancun. We booked Tours with Mike based on reading reviews. A big draw was that it wasn’t “all day” like all the big group tours are, since we were limited on time. We are SO glad we did. Manny was absolutely amazing. Great driver, guide, photographer, and nice to visit with. He was so informative and was able to answer any questions we had. Chichen Itza was amazing to see and learn about.. he got us there early and in and out before huge crowds and too much heat. Afterwards we went to Cenote Oxman. I was terrified to swim in it.. he was so patient and gave me a nice pep talk that made me feel more comfortable. I cannot believe I jumped in with my husband! Once we were in, I was so happy we did it.. it was such a cool, unique experience. Then we went to Valladolid where we had a great authentic lunch (& a much needed margarita after conquering my cenote fear!).. our favorite meal of the trip! He got us back to our hotel at 3:30 where we still had time to relax the rest of the day. Its a bit of an investment but after seeing what the tolls and entry tickets cost, plus considering lunch is included, and a personal guide (who doubles as a photographer and was also so polite and accommodating), its 100% worth it. I would HIGHLY recommend Tours with Mike and would definitely book again. Manny, next time we look forward to our “Vitamin T” tour with you 😉 THANK YOU for an AMAZING and memorable day!!!

We visited Chichen Itza with Tours with Mike as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and it was fantastic from start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel at 6:30am by our English-speaking tour guide, who was also our driver and photographer for the day. We arrived at Chichen Itza around 8:30am, before the crowds, which made a huge difference to the experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information as we explored, and he also took plenty of great photos for us along the way. After the visit, he took us to a traditional Mexican restaurant for lunch, which was amazing. We then visited a cenote where we cooled down and relaxed — you can walk into the water, swing in from a rope, or jump from a platform, which the kids loved. The car was very comfortable with great air conditioning and plenty of ice-cold water. Ivan, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and great fun to spend the day with. I would highly recommend Tours with Mike to anyone visiting the area, especially families.

Manny, our guide, was the quintessential "world citizen" able to, and very happy, seemingly, to converse on many topics including his passion: history. This made the drive there and back like a visit with a good friend. The experience at Chichen itza was fabulous; we were prepared well by Manny, he addresses all of our questions and concerns patiently, which was very appreciated. We loved the cenote experience and the lunch! Loved it! This cost was a little above what we would usually pay, but not worrying about driving, navigating, language barrier, and crossing state lines was worth the cost. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Ivan was a good ambassador for the various cultures along Chichen Itza. The Cenote was a little cool temp wise but still impressive. The food. You could watch them make the tortillas in front of you.

Had a flawless day with Manny doing the private guided tour to Chicen Itza, Cénote and lunch. He was so fluent in English, knowledgeable as can be, fun, trustworthy, and professional. He takes care of the driving, tolls, ticketing, everything. We didn’t even need to have our phones out, he took all the pictures in the perfect places and air dropped them at the end. Worth every penny and then some. Highly recommend!

Very memorable day. The small private tour made listening to the information easy and two sided. Every time I had a question Ivan had a great answer, and seemed excited to go more in depth. The cenote was very fun. As an adult child a rope swing into an underground lake will never disappoint. When it was time for lunch. Ivan's recommendation did not disappoint. I had never heard of what he recommended but put faith in the self proclaimed foodie and had a hard time not licking the plate clean.

Our family of four booked a private tour and had the best time with our guide Ivan! We ended up reserving through the company directly and were asked to pay a 10% down payment through PayPal to reserve our spot. The rest was paid the day of the tour. Ivan was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. We managed to beat the crowds at every location which was so nice! He took pictures of us all day so we could just enjoy the sites. We saw iconic Chichén Itza, the beautiful Oxman cenote, and had a delicious authentic Mexican lunch in Valladolid. We were picked up at 6:30 am from our hotel and the tour was estimated to be 9 hours from pickup to drop off, but it took us a little longer due to rain on the way back. Ivan was a careful driver and got us to and from all locations safely. It was a great day and we would definitely tour with this company again!
