The Great Pyramid of Khufu
The Great Pyramid of Cheops Stop: In close proximity to the majestic pyramid of King Cheops, the guide will provide a comprehensive explanation of the construction techniques employed by the ancient Egyptians to construct these pyramids. Furthermore, you will have the chance to observe the two grand gabs, which were used to house the sun boats, as well as the three lesser pyramids that were dedicated to the monarchs.

5.00Our guide Amal was great! Amal told us parts of the story during the ride while the driver (Tarek) drove us safely to our destination. The vehicle had air conditioning and care was always taken to ensure that the temperature was right for us. Our guide has a lot of experience and she explained the history well during the tour of the museum and the pyramids. Pros: • pick up and return to the hotel •great planning • great experience • AC in car and safe drive •lokal tip for food

5.00The trip with Amal and the driver Tarek was great! Communication in advance went smoothly,Amal has explained everything with a lot of dedication, has also given us enough time for self-exploration. We were additionally at a papyrus shop where the production was explained to us and ended up in a traditional perfume shop. And everything according to the motto, nothing has to be! Finally Tarek even drove us to a shawarma shop and then back to Airbnb. Definitely recommendable! We had a great day with Amal!

5.00We had a wonderful time visiting the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian museum with this tour! Our driver picked us up from the airport instead of the hotel (which you can ask for 30$ more), and showed us the city of Cairo as we were approaching the city center. Then our guide Jimmy joined us and led us to the Egyptian museum and the pyramids of Giza after that. Jimmy is a great guide and made our visit a living experience. He is very knowledgeable and his English is perfect, moreover the organization was flawless and they leaved us the free time and flexibility we wanted during the excursion. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00This was my first time taking a solo tour and Aziza was AMAZING. She made me feel at ease, all while being extremely knowledgeable of all the sites. She’s also a bit of a celebrity around town, so that was cool to see everyone love to see her. 😂 She even squeezed in a camel ride I had had to cancel the day prior. If you come to Cairo, ask for Aziza!

5.00Mina is a knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. He gave us a quick tour of the museum, took us for a great lunch and then we spent a couple of hours at the pyramids. We felt that the camel ride was a waste of money, but that’s not on Mina. We have learned that on an Egyptian tour you will be taken places that are not on the itinerary in order to try and sell you things, like perfume, spices, rugs, etc. We have learned to say no if we don’t want to go there.

5.00The greatest guide and driver ever! Knowledgeable, friendly, funny—Jimmy & Ahmed couldn’t have treated us better. As it was a private tour, we skipped the Egypt Museum, opting for a carriage ride into the desert for a better pyramids view and stops to learn about glass blowing, ancient essential oils and papyrus making. Jimmy and Ahmed prevented us from being hassled by all those trying to sell us something plus they were delightful luncheon companions (included in the tour price). We take a lot of pictures, from different vantage points. Jimmy never rushed us and knew many spots to get the best photo. Private tour is the way to go—especially with these guys! The flexibility alone is worth the added expense.
