We had such an amazing day exploring Oaxaca with Fernando. Hierve el Agua was our first stop and the views were absolutely unbelievable. From there we visited Mitla, where our guide explained the history in a way that was easy to understand and really interesting. The mezcal tasting at a small palenque felt very genuine and we met the family, saw the whole process, and tried some incredible mezcales. Teotitlán del Valle was another highlight, watching the weaving process and the natural dyes being made was something we’ll never forget. We ended at El Tule, a quiet and beautiful place to finish the day. Everything felt relaxed, well organized, and very authentic. Highly recommended!

Guide, Fernando, did a great job. Local young man with a very good command of English. Great stops. He has great contacts. Mezcal facility was very upscale. Textile stop was also very upscale.

Fernando our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Oaxaca’s culture and history, but also fun and engaging. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we never felt rushed. We loved how the day was customized around our interests from the prettified waterfall, ancient ruins, to local food stops.
