Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.
Noravank Monastery
Passing a narrow road, surrounded by rocks of hundred caves, one discovers a scene of harmony of architecture with nature. The monastery, enshrined with fine architectural solutions and luxurious embellishments, is one of the brightest examples of Armenian architecture of the 13th century. Noravank consists of St. Karapet, St. Gregory The Illuminator churches and St. Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) two-storey church, which is notable for its ideal constructive and sculptural work.

Fantastic tour to iconic and supremely beautiful monasteries. Fabulous monastery of khor virap and noravank. Surprising cable car and monastery of Tatev. The Italian guide, Liana, was very professional and told us several anecdotes related to the various places we visited. The driver, Mr. Gregorio, and was patient and professional in driving the vehicle. Highly recommended

Fantastic tour from start to finish and we couldn't have had a better guide than Karen and a better driver than Armen. Thank you for the amazing experience and experience we had today.

We visited two monasteries in two stunning settings. The one of Khor Virap overlooking Mount Ararat and attached to the Turkish border (in fact the border fence is seen from the monastery). And Noravank's nestled between mountains and with a very interesting iconography and symbology. Our guide Marina explained, among many other things, the peculiarities of the Armenian crossings.

Went on tour with my friends and were very pleased! Guide Anna has told many interesting facts all the way, driver Lavon is also a very pleasant and polite man. The route was well thought out, so even though it was +40, we didn't have time to overheat in the sun and left on time for the air-conditioned car with water. I'd love to go on another tour with Anna and Lavon in the future.

Beautiful ancient sites. The drive to Noravank was very scenic and thanks to our driver Zaven we felt very safe driving up and down the mountainous terrain. Had lunch at Noravank with no expectation but turns out to be fantastic. All 4 stops were worth the time.

Really good and varied tour comprising 2 monasteries, wine tasting and a cave. Khor Virap was disappointingly crowded but good views. Noravank was quiet and in a wonderful location. Our tour guide Eduard was very knowledgeable and professional.
