Marangu
You may have heard of the Marangu Route, which takes hikers up to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. However, I doubt you have heard of the Marangu Waterfalls, which are a great attraction in the area before or after your Mount Kilimanjaro trek. Combine the short waterfall hike with a coffee tour or an exploration of the local Chagga cave system and you are set for a full day of adventures before your more serious trekking. The two waterfalls I visited on my hike were Ndoro and Monjo, and these are the most popular two although there are others to explore in the area also. In this blog post, I will share with you everything you need to know about the Marangu Waterfall hike including the location, cost of the tour, and what to expect.
Kikuletwa Hotsprings
You’ll depart from Arusha and make the two-hour drive to Maji Moto. This scenic drive takes you off the tourist trail and offers a glimpse into local life: bustling markets and local farms. You’ll then spend a few hours soaking in the pleasantly warm waters, swinging on the rope swing, relaxing in the sun- dappled shade of the trees, and feasting on local favorites such as chips mayai

Had a great trip with Joel, he was so kind and honestly made the experience even better. We went to the falls, coffee tour/caves and then finished at the springs. A very fun filled day, I would recommend this experience to someone looking for an all-inclusive type of tour that’s looking to do multiple experiences in a day. Joel, is the type of tour guide that is professional and friendly but makes you feel right at home and comfortable. Thank you again! Carlee & Josie :)

We did the 2 day safari of the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire park. The guides were amazing. We got to see the big African 5 in 2 days and they worked hard to find them for us. Food was always great and accommodations were comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Amazing tour! Joel our driver was very friendly and went the extra mile for us. The car was great, the tour very well organised and we learned a lot about the Tanzanian culture! Definitely recommend it for an amazing full day from Arusha or Moshi
