5.00Maiku was our tour guide and driver for the day around Mt Fuji and Hakone area, he was great with both English and Japanese. He took us to all the Lakes and Temples that I had requested and beautiful views of Mt Fuji plus a special ice cream. All in all my family with two adult sons enjoyed ourselves.

5.00Direct collection at the Tokyo Hotel by our guide, Mike. Fluent in Japanese and English. Arrived promptly for the start at 8.30am. We were blessed with a crisp, dry, clear day. Service was even on New Years Day. Around a 90 minute drive to the base of the mountain. Over the next 4/5 hours we did; Chureito pagoda Oishi park ( Lake Kawaguchi with the best ice cream ever) Lake Saiko and Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba Kitaguchi hongu Fuji Sengen shrine. All these had materially different views of the Mountain which is so vast that it would be difficult to do so on your own and tiresome in a large tour group. We stopped off at the Oshino Hakkai village for a late lunch. Mike was attentive, knowledgeable and advised us fully on the best sites. We even missed one or two due to more cloudy conditions in the afternoon and did other sites like the amazing Shrine. It is worth the cost as it can’t be missed and for the comfort of pick up and drop off I would fully recommend.

5.00Mike was truly an outstanding guide. He kept a close eye on the weather and adapted the tour perfectly so we could make the most of every moment. He was friendly, helpful, and incredibly easy to talk to. One of the things that made the experience even better is that Mike speaks both English and Japanese. This made ordering food and communicating in places where English wasn’t understood so much easier. He knows all the best spots - from beautiful viewpoints to hidden gems - and he makes sure you experience them comfortably. His car has very comfortable seats, great air conditioning, and his driving style is calm and pleasant, which makes the whole trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend booking a tour with Mike!

He took us everywhere we asked, stopping for photo ops along the way! He was our translator and photographer!! It honestly felt more like traveling with a friend than a guide! 5.00We had the most wonderful day. Our tour guide Yasir was of great value. He knew all the great spots and saved us time with his local knowledge. We packed a lot into one day and saw all the great parts of Mt Fuji we wanted to and Yasir showed us other parts of the area we weren't expecting. I would definitely not hesitate in booking this tour. From start to finish it was great. So go ahead and book this tour knowing you will get great value for money.
