What To Expect
Chan Chan
On the way to the mud city we will make a stop at the Temple of the Dragon, an allegory of the Rainbow and engenderer of the desert dragons. We will then visit the Archaeological Complex of Chan Chan, with an area of 18 km2 approx., the Nik-An Palace, located in the south-western part of Chan Chan touring its ceremonial plazas, shrines, water reservoirs, barns, cemeteries, among others.
Huanchaco
The tour continues with a visit to the Huanchaco fishermen’s cove, famous for its totora reed boats called Totora Horses

5.00Clara our guide was lovely, with passion and in depth knowledge of Trujillo and the Chimu people. Only downside was no port pick up or drop off for cruises, so suggest you pre book a taxi from port to town. It's about 45 mins, and should be 15 to 20 dollars.

2.00This was an interesting tour but the rest of Peru was much more interesting. There was a cultural dance parade in the city and that was much more enjoyable than the tour.
