Tomb of Ramses III
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’
Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut)
The Tomb of King Tut. The tomb of Tutankhamun is the only tomb in Valley of the Kings that was discovered nearly intact in 1922. The discoverer of his tomb was Howard Carter. Tut's famous golden mask is on display at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, but here you have the opportunity to be amazed at the royal mummy of the young king. After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari),

This tour is highly recommended! We took a balloon ride booked through the same company so our guide met us afterwards. The tour was well organized. Our Egyptologist guide Abdul, spoke good English and also good archaeological background. He is knowledgeable and learned the history of people who lived in the areas of the tomb sites. In the Valley of the Kings, we indicated that we want to see SETTI which is an extra cost and King Tut. SETII IS WORTH THE EXTRA FEE. The hieroglyphs are vibrant and detained. Abdul chose the other 3 tombs for us which we all love, especially Ramses III. He explained what we will see inside using postcards (which we purchased later) so it was nice to hunt the hieroglyphics and know their meaning. He gave us enough time to explore each tombs on our own. We also had time for quick snack break as it got really hot inside the tombs. Don't expect to eat a full sit down meal during the tour especially if you decide to visit 5 tombs which can be time consuming. Overall, very happy with this tour, nice driver and excellent tour guide, Abdul.

Spectacular. The valley of the kings cannot be missed, with the tomb of Seti I being well worth what we paid. Hassan was a truly excellent guide - he answered all our questions and gave us plenty of flexibility to move at our own pace and add on other local sites into the afternoon. Would recommend.

Really nice guide (Hassan) and driver. They fulfilled all our wishes and also an extra stop at Hasheput Temple was included (at an extra costs). I would always repeat the tour with them again and can fully recommend them.

We visited 3 tombs plus king Tut’s plus Sheti’s. King tut’s had his mummy inside and Sheti’s was the most beautiful with the least people. Our guide was Mr. Hassan. Great guy, great vibes, funny, he gaves us some very-easy-to-understand insights on ancient egypt, the kings and way of thinking, and how they ended up building such magnificent structures.

We booked the tour through Viator. We enjoyed the tour a lot, recommended. We visited Valley of Kings (with Tuthankhamun tomb), Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, passed by a village where they showed us how they make the sculptures. Our guide Hassan was very friendly, and told us a lot of things - great story telling, you can see he is passionate about the history. He is knowledgeable so you can ask him all questions. Thank you!

We booked a VIP day trip from El Gouna to Luxor through Memnon Reisen. And it became the perfect day. Early in the morning we were picked up by our driver Michael. He made our several-hour drive very pleasant. Clean car, air conditioning, drinks and TV on board. In Luxor we met our guide Naschaad Obaid Saad. A professor of archaeology and a master to inspire people and take them into the history of ancient Egypt. We looked behind the scenes, admired masterpieces of ancient Egypt and learned to read hieroglyphics. Naschaad enriched and fascinated us with his archaeological knowledge. You could listen to him for hours and it would never get boring. We would book this tour again anytime.
