this tour will be totally 7 hours from the moment you been picked up to the moment you been dropped off, after the pick-up at the exit B Lama Temple Metro Station by the driver,you will have a 1.5 hour ride to Mutianyu Great Wall where you will see one of the 7 wonders of the world with splendid view and you also can use the chairlift to get to the top of the Great Wall and toboggan to return which is very popular and interesting, after the Great Wall if you want to stop for some food the driver will take you to local restaurant for local food otherwise will drive you back and drop you off a t the same point as you been picked up

What To Expect

you will be picked up at the Exit A National Agriculture Exhibition Center(Line 10) metro station at 7:30am(recommended to leave at 7:30am cos it will be much less traffic on the way, meanwhile much less tourists on the Great Wall you can avoid the queue for everything and enjoy the view there better but if you don't want to leave too early then it is flexible) in the morning by the driver, he will take you to Mutianyu Great Wall,the driver will help you to purchase tickets for the Great Wall,after that he will tell you how to meet him when you return,this transportation service only including private transportation,nothing else so you need you buy tickets, food ,etc by yourself, you will have about 3 hours on the Great Wall,after that the driver will drop you off at the same point where he pick you up

Had the best 3 days with Tim he was amazing and knowledgeable he spent the whole 3 days with us including taking us somewhere delicious for lunch each day would definitely recommend this tour and its people

We booked our Private Transfer with Joe and it turned out to be an excellent experience. Tim was our driver for the day and he was wonderful. The car was very clean, comfortable and in great condition. Tim spoke perfect English and gave us many insights about the wall and China in general during the drive. Tim also helped us stop by a local food joint to try out local delicacies. I would highly recommend booking with Joe and Tim!

We booked only very late the night before. We received very quickly an answer from Mr. Joe and as I left the name of my hotel in my message so he could call me. He was very flexible. He was not available to accompany us as he was booked and sent a driver that could not speak English, but we were in contact with him the entire time, so this posed no challenge. He gave good tips for visiting the wall. We spent 3h and went up with the cablecar, then went left to station 20 (uphill), walked to station 6 and came down with the slide (which was a bit slower than expected as it jams, but was still a fast way to come down). We had a short lunch break after the climb to station 20. there was no queue at the cablecar nor the slide: took us exactly 3h. Feasible in 3h if you are a bit sporty.

Joe presented us an unforgettable time to the Great Wall. He arrived punctual at the hotel with his comfortable 7-seater van. As it was a public holiday he had recommended to leave very early, which had paid off; it wasn’t crowded yet when we arrived. He answered all our questions, gave us a tour through china’s history with a professional, yet personal touch. We can highly recommend Joe and this tour to the Great Wall. It’s been a pleasure and a wonderful experience. Thank you Joe to make this trip an unforgettable experience.

Joe was the best guide you can imagine. Very flexible and attentive. It was no problem that we were instead 3 people on onema lzu 6 he adapted the car for the next day. His knowledge and friendly nature are outstanding. Thank you joe for this great experience.

Joe is a very competent, reliable and funny guide. He speaks English fluently and is able to enrich your visit with very interesting information. We really appreciated his flexibility in arranging a mini van with a very short notice, instead of the previously booked car, because a few friends decided to join in the very last moment. For sure I would call him again for future tours, also to other parts of China! Thank you Joe! It was great with you!! :-)

I went to the Great wall together with some collegues. Joe came to our Hotel in morning and drove us to the wall. While we were driving, he already gave us some information about the wall (his English is really excellent) and asked us how we want to go there (chair lift, etc.). When we arrived, he bought the tickets for us so there were no language difficulties. We were there pretty early which was very good, because there were only a few people at the wall. After he walked with us we had some freetime to explore the wall and take photos. When we returned back home, we made a quick stop at a nice noodle restaurant, he recommended us. It was a very nice day with him and I woulf definitely do it again!
