What To Expect
Cathedrale de Lausanne
The private day trip will start when the driver-guide greets you at the lobby of your hotel in Geneva city. Take your seat in the luxurious vehicle and admire the breathtaking landscape of the Swiss countryside all the way to Lausanne. Upon arrival, you will take a short city tour through the city's landmarks including the cathedral and optional visit to the Olympic Museum or a stroll along the shore of Geneva Lake. The shoreline of Lake Geneva features one of the fascinating views and among the most beautiful roads in Switzerland. Afterwards, it will be the time to head to Chillon Castle, weather by 1.30-hour boat trip on Lake Geneva or by the car. The cruises are available in Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons and based on the weather conditions.

Chillon Castle nestles proudly on the shores Lake Leman. It is one of the most visited castles in Europe and Switzerland. You will take a tour inside to discover its essential historical heritage.

Detail-oriented as well, we ordered baby chair but our baby girl got sick and wasn't able to make this trip and driver kindly asked about her :) We have booked their services throughout the previous years, always we have been satisfied. 5.00Excellent option for anyone that wants to pick where they were wanting to spend their time Timothy was so pleasant and understanding!! Beautiful trip. If you want to add something on the list you just need to make sure you give him time but he always accommodated us where he could.

5.00Eric was our driver today from Montreux to the Geneva airport. The pickup at our hotel was right on time and we arrived early at the airport despite the rain. Eric is an experienced, kind, and knowledgeable driver. All of our drivers for trip through Switzerland this past week have been excellent. AlpTransfer is highly recommended.

4.00Clean and comfortable van. Driver was friendly. Jaque took us to the Olympic Museum in Loudsanne which was great. Then to Montreux for the afternoon and back to Geneva. Was a great day in Switzerland.

5.00This is an excellent trip.Yolanda our guide for the day was very knowledgeable about all things Swiss. The visit to Charlie Chaplin House and museum was very good . Boat trip to Chillion Castle was real nice and the Castle it's self was excellent. Thourghly comprehensive tour expensive but you will never forget this full day trip.

4.00Montreux is a gorgeous place, but stay away in the summer. We were there at the end of June and it was very hot. The Jazz Festival was on. Lots of vendors and music to enjoy. BUT..... there was no air conditioning anywhere. After trying several places to find relief, we went into an extremely prominent and upscale hotel. Surely, we thought, we could get a drink there in a cool environment. Wrong! We let the desk know of our frustration and discomfort. A kind waiter brought us cold washcloths to soothe us! There wasn't even a fan in the hotel! So....beware if you go in hot weather. It is very beautiful in Montreux. Go when it is cool. There was not much to see in Lausanne, and it is very hilly.
