A wide pedestrian avenue and the meeting-point for the people living in Bergen, this beautiful street was built after the great fire as a fire breaker, hence its width. Surrounded by shopping malls and cafes, this lively street will take you from the modern town to the old part of Bergen. There is a lot of historical landmarks along the way that will be explained.

5.00Jana, my guide today exceeded any expectations I could have showing me her home town. Such a beautiful city, from Brrygen to the tram ride to overlook Bergen itself. I mentioned cheese and we when by the fish market to a cheese specialist and many purchases later to take home … vacuum packed I’m in heaven. Such a personable woman, it was my pleasure to see Bergen with Jana. Request her !!!

5.00Definitely worthwhile tour Jana was friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt a better understanding of Bergen and their history plus Jana gave us much needed information on navigating the rest for a trip with restaurants Sites. Jana was very friendly, professional, and easy to talk to.

5.00We had an excellent tour with Neil. My husband and I spent 2 hours exploring and learning so much about the beautiful city and the surrounding area. We learned about the history and culture and Neil was like an Encyclopedia answering all our questions even when we distracted him from the planned route ☺️. He gave great advice on places to visit and eat and really went to extra trouble to find vegetarian restaurants in the area for me. My husband is very interested in history and we really enjoyed the conversation and shared knowledge. A very pleasant and friendly person and we would highly recommend him for this tour.

5.00The tour was wonderful. Jana was our tour guide and she was amazing. She picked us up from our hotel and gave us a comprehensive and interesting tour of the city of Bergen. She pointed out places we should go back to and even local delicacies. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour educational and fun. I would highly recommend asking for her! Her love of the city and it’s history was evident.
