What To Expect

We will taste our typical products and my family culinary preparations, the food tasting experience is completed with the tasting of another food, Wine. We combine our dishes with the Doc wines of our splendid territory, volcanic, savory and intense wines. We are at home immersed in nature, we live in Milo, between the mountains and chestnut woods, we would like to share with our guests the unique air and energy that can be breathed on the slopes of Etna. Our panoramic terrace dominates the Gulf of Catania and the wind that rises from the sea makes our tasting moments fresh and relaxing. We will take care of you with simplicity and passion, we love our work and we want to pass on our unique and fascinating territory.

What a lovely afternoon touring the vineyard. I was sitting on a bench taking off my shoes to get the pieces of volcanic ash out after hiking on Mt Etna and the bench toppled over.The ladies got me a bag of ice and wine for my slight injury.Followed by a delicious lunch including the best fruit salad I have ever had. Thanks so much for a terrific afternoon and for forwarding the recipes!

An incredible experience with Barbara and Angela. Amazing hospitality. Interesting and delicious food. Insights about local wines. I can't recommend this experience enough. If you care about food and wine, if you want to meet real Sicilians, then you must visit. Hike Etna in the morning (when it's cool) and spend the afternoon resting under the canopy at Barbara's home as you explore the local cuisine and wine.

Angela and Barbara and Rosita were fabulous hosts for our visit. Delicious and simple food where ingredients were local and the star! Lovely wine from the handsome grounds and a great way to visit Mt. Etna and then enjoy some home cooking.

What a fantastic experience with Barbara and Angela. The setting is beautiful and they are warm and gracious hosts. Our meal was perfection and the wine was a perfect compliment. It felt like we were dining with family. I encourage all and any to spend time here.

We had an amazing private lunch and wine tasting with Barbara and her team during our travels through Sicily last March. Barbara’s warm hospitality and knowledge of Sicilian wine culture was impressive. We loved the delicious, authentic, Sicilian food and wine served in Barbara’s cosy home. It was raining outside so we only saw the surrounding vineyards from her patio. I can imagine how wonderful it would be to walk through the vineyards and sample wine right there.

On our way back down from Mt Etna we stopped for lunch at Barbara’s. We didn’t really know what to expect but it was wonderful! Barbara is a delightful woman full of love and joy! We sat on her patio with a lovely view and ate our favorite meal from our 25 day trip to Italy. Every bit and bite was delicious! All of the ingredients are from her garden or locally sourced. Oh my goodness!!! From appetizers to soup to the main dishes and dessert. Fabulous! You can taste the love in her food! I highly recommend you treat yourself to this wonderful experience!!

Our lunch tasting with Barbara was a highlight of our week in Sicily. After touring the stark landscape of Mt Etna, we were treated to Barbara's lush and beautiful property for lunch. What a treat! From sampling different kinds of honey to wine pairings with five courses of food. Each dish was an education and reflection of the region; each different from anything we had tasted before. We can't wait to try her recipes at home to remind us of that lovely afternoon with a lovely and talented host. Thank you!
