Gigondas
the village of Gigondas was in Roman times known as Jucunditas (Latin for ‘to give oneself up to joy’) – a fitting name for a place dedicated to wine, where the winemaking tradition has developed for over two millennia.
Chateauneuf-du-Pape
The AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape is an internationally famous wine. An exceptional region The Châteauneuf-du-Pape region enjoys a wide range of soils, and particularly large rolled pebbles (diluvium alpin) above red clay, allowing the grapes to reach a very high degree of maturity. Well aware of the value of their heritage, the winemakers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape have committed themselves over the past few years to an approach aiming at defining and reinforcing the identity of their appellation, particularly through the different local areas and the diversity of grape varieties.

Kelsey was fantastic and the other participants were great. It’s a wonderful wine tour to 3 wineries. We did find that the first was underwhelming given we stood in a store. The second was not very informative but the atmosphere was amazing. The third was outstanding - a 5th generation family run winery! Would recommend.

The pick up was easy. The tour guide was knowledgable. The other tour group members were great. Wish we had more time at the three cellars.

Anne was such a knowledgeable guide - we learnt so much, not just about the wine, but the planting and growing of the vines, all fascinating. The vineyards we visited were all quite different and again there was so much information! A very enjoyable and informative afternoon.

We had the most wonderful time! Kelsy was a lovely, knowledgeable, and easygoing guide. She was great to talk with and very professional. We enjoyed all of the wineries we visited and each of the wines. Highly recommend!
