5.00We had an absolutely amazing private tour experience in Puerto Plata, organized for our group of 24, which included kids, teens, adults, and an older couple. The tour company went above and beyond to make our day special and smooth for everyone. From the moment we boarded our comfortable private bus, everything was perfectly timed and thoughtfully planned. We visited a local rum factory, cigar rolling experience, charming souvenir shops, took a relaxing walk through the historic city center, and enjoyed a delicious visit to a chocolate factory. Each stop was both fun and informative for all ages. One of the most touching moments was when they surprised my mom with a birthday cake during lunch to celebrate her 70th birthday—it was such a thoughtful gesture that made the day truly unforgettable for our family. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with our large and diverse group. The entire experience was well-paced, never rushed, and full of meaningful local experiences. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to explore Puerto Plata in comfort with excellent service and a personal touch. This tour was a highlight of our trip!

5.00So pleased buy this team Jennifer, our driver and our tour guide. I booked them online in advance and was able to talk with them ahead of time via WhatsApp. I gave them my ideas and they made a great day happen. They panned a custom day just for us. Jennifer saved our day when our planned destination was booked. My wife and I brought our quadriplegic daughter and a caregiver arrived on a cruise ship and they provided a wonderful day. Monkeyland was totally booked by the cruise ship and Jennifer found us another place for our daughter and all of us to experience, hold and pet monkeys. It was a surprise for my daughter and this place was smaller, had more time and was much more intimate with the monkeys. My daughter loved it. Also other things to experience there. They got us fresh bananas and mangos at a roadside stand and they were delicious. They took us to all the places I wanted and foudn us an awesome local place to have lunch at an outside table on a porch. They got us one of everything and we got to sample it all. Our driver looked like a body builder and did all the loading, unloading and lifting to get my daughter in her wheelchair everywhere to experience everything. They did whatever it took to get my daughter to experience everything. We are so thankful.

5.00My son Anthony and I had a wonderful 1/2 day your with Jose our driver and Elizabeth, they treated us so well especially that Anthony uses small wheel chair, Jose helped him at every stop we made, you can tell Elizabeth and Jose worked well together. They took us for a great lunch right off the beach, we loved it. It went very well and we had great time together. Elizabeth showed us her fathers videos for his business, he is a funny man and I liked his videos alot. He did a good job with his commercials.... I recommend DRSS, 👌

5.00Excellent tour of Puerto Plata! Rosario and Mara were personable, patient and kind. Mara was very knowledgeable and gave a great history at every stop. I traveled with my mom in her 70's and my 6 year old daughter and we all enjoyed the tour. We did rum, chocolate, amber and coffee tours, played dominoes on umbrella street, took photos on pink street, ate an amazing lunch, visited a beautiful countryside and butterfly garden and saw the fortress on the beach. Pickup was well communicated and exactly on time. We were able to take our time at every stop. Highly recommend this tour! There is something for everyone. Thank you for sharing your city with us!

5.00Unfortunately we hadn't received an email from the organizer Exceptcust Tours about the exact meeting point and had to ask around until we found it. There is definitely room for improvement here. But the driver 'Lilo' and the guide 'Mara' were absolutely great. Firstly, we were the only guests and secondly, in addition to free water, there were also lots of great explanations and WE could decide what/how long we wanted to visit!! So we can highly recommend the tour, even if we ended up skipping lunch!! Many thanks again to the great team and the lovely memory!!
