What To Expect
Damajagua Waterfalls
Upon arrival at the Damajagua Waterfalls, travelers will be greeted by certified local guides who will provide all the necessary instructions to enjoy the adventure safely. Mandatory life jackets and helmets will be handed out, and the guides will explain how to jump properly, navigate the terrain, and stay safe throughout the tour. There will also be time to store personal belongings in lockers and use the restrooms before beginning the hike to the first waterfalls. This preparation stage is essential to ensure a fun, safe, and well-organized experience.
Damajagua Waterfall
The adventure begins with a scenic hike through a lush forest trail leading to the first waterfalls. From there, travelers will descend through a series of stunning natural waterfalls, sliding down smooth rock slides shaped by the river and jumping into crystal-clear pools. Each jump offers a thrill of adrenaline and fun, all while surrounded by the beauty of the tropical landscape. Guides will be present at every step to ensure safety and assist throughout the entire experience

5.00We have done the Tour of Damajagua and Puerto Plata Waterfalls and we loved it Our guide Jonathan, has been special, super close, super attentive and has not made an unforgettable Tour It's very much appreciated, finding guides you meet at home. We highly recommend this Tour because you have a great time, the waterfalls are wonderful, the people are super nice and the Puerto Plata Tour is very complete, we have travelled Puerto Plata from end to end and we have seen everything and some extra that Jonathan has taken us to see and we loved. We recommend it 100%

The guide was great at the falls and Jonathan made our Puerto Plata DR experience really special geared our city tour after the falls to our own specific preferences. Cigar rolling, chocolate factory, gorgeous beach. He took pics for us and gave us an up close and personal tour of the area. Van was clean and modern. Highly recommend!

5.00Our family of 6 were fortunate to book this tour with Jonathan. We trekked from the boat to right outside Amber Cover (about 10 minutes walk) to be met by Jonathan, who took us to his van, and offered us water and soda. From there he gave us some history of the country and answered our questions as we made our way to the Damajagua falls. From there, he left us in the care of the staff at the park, where we had an incredible time going through the part. Special shout out to Felix our guide, and Milton, our photo guy who led us to a wonderful 2 hour adventure. After that, we got washed up before lunch, where Jonathan kindly pointed to the vegetarian items for part of our family. From there we made out way back to the city center, where we walked around to central square, Umbrella Street, and Dona Blanca Street, all while Jonathan gave us some interesting history and facts. We stopped at a few stores before heading the Amber museum, where we received a quick lesson on the island's amber and Larimer deposits. We then went to a coffee/cocoa shop where we got a few samples and bought some foodstuff for friends and family back home. After that we made our way back to the car for a drive along the beach and to the major fort. Jonathan was super knowledgeable and well-known to the locals, so it was nice to see some human interactions during the tour.

5.00It was a great day spent with Jonathan. He communicated about the meetup point effectively. The transport car was clean and he gave us plenty of water and soda along the way. He was super patient with my family (we always run late) and was great about showing us around his hometown. Highly recommend for a great city tour plus the waterfalls.

5.00The tour was amazing we had so much fun I recommend Johnathan tours in puerto plata🙏🙏 we had very great time at the waterfall it was amazing and after we had to the city center umbrella ☂️ street and pink street I highly recommend this company tour we came all the way from malta 🇲🇹 it was the best tour I ever made.

5.00HIGHLY recommend Jonathan Tour. He did a phenomenal job taking my family around the city of Puerto Plata. From the second we messaged him, he was very accommodating. Worked with what everyone in my group wanted to do and customized the tours we went with. We had a toddler with us and he was extremely patient. Took us to the best stores with the best prices. Explained to us who we should trust who we shouldn’t. We spent two whole days and it was the best experience. Super humble, super understanding. He became a family member. 110x recommend you tour with Jonathan around the city. He’s new to the business but he KNOWs what he’s doing!! Thank you Jonathan!
