This tour offers a range of experiences from moderate to challenging, depending on your fitness level. We’ll start with a hike down to the river, where a thrilling jump marks the beginning of your adventure. Swim through the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the caves, discover a hidden waterfall, leap off canyon cliffs, and marvel at ancient Taino native markings. This tour can take around 3-4 hours depending on the group. Charco Azul & Cuevas Arenales translates to Blue Pool & Sand Cave and is located in Vega Baja, PR.

5.00We had an amazing experience with GeoAventura PR on their Charco Azul adventure tour. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on safety throughout the entire trip. They provided all the gear and made sure everyone felt comfortable during the hike and river sections. The hike itself was a lot of fun with beautiful scenery, caves, and waterfalls along the way. The guides also shared interesting information about the local nature and culture, which made the experience even better. The highlight was reaching Charco Azul — the views, navigating through the caves and cliff jumping spot were incredible. Abdiel was well organized from start to finish, and the small group size made it feel personal. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Rico who wants a fun outdoor adventure and a chance to experience the island’s natural beauty. We will be back with friends and family! 🤙🏽

5.00Mara, was a excellent guide. She was so patient, she made sure we all felt safe as we adventure through the caves. This experience was so breath-taking. Like taking a step into the pasted. We had a group of 6. Mara also gave a little history of the caves and the plant life. She also went over the plants that is poisonous. I would recommend this cave experience.
