What To Expect

Carite Forest Reserve

A 5-8 min hike, through a easy/medium trail will lead you to our hidden gem. After working up an appetite, the group will have lunch (at your expense) in a family-owned roadside shaq aka "chinchorro" called La Terraza. Your driver/guide will be providing live commentary, and instructions to keep you safe throughout the tour. A bathroom stop at a local gas station is done on the way to the fall. Wear comfortable walking clothes and shoes, have your bathing suits on, and bring towels. Water shoes are recommended to maximize the day.

The most best kept secret waterfall in the the countryside of Puerto Rico. Swim, jump off rocks or simply grab a shade and immerse in the natural surroundings. Bring water shoes, the river bottom is rocky and your shoes will get wet to see the waterfall.

We had the best time and had the greatest tour guide. (Andrea - spelling may not be correct) She was excellent and was so knowledgeable and friendly. She was so fun to be with. Would recommend her if ever in San Juan.

Our trip around Puerto Rico was amazing! Our tour guide Ivan, knew all the ins and outs of history, fauna, animals and areas of the island. The bus we were on was clean and safe. We had a quick snack stop that was exceptional where we tried some foods new to us. Then we were promptly delivered back to our cruise ship.

Great experience in the Puerto Rican countryside! Our guide Gonzo was informative and funny. The food stop was delicious. The waterfalls and scenery were beautiful. Our total tour group was 6 people so it was nice and small.

Our guide Gonzales was wonderful. Gave lots of history as we drove to the first waterfall. The short hike to the waterfall was easy but muddy due to some earlier rain. Plenty of time to explore the beautiful area and then on to the next waterfalls. When we got to there, it was raining and Gonzales suggested we wait just about 10 mins to see if it would clear, and sure enough, it did. Beautiful sunny skies for these falls, and boy were they GORGEOUS! The rocks were very slippery, but most of our group made it down into the water. Popsicles at the top of the falls were a wonderful treat, as was the delicious lunch. This was a great tour for anyone who doesn’t want to do a ton of hiking.

Hector was amazing. Great company, wonderful surroundings, perfect weather, we did not want it to end. This tour is perfect for those who don't want to hike 30+ minutes. It's not strenuous at all. PR is beautiful 😍

What a fun and amazing experience. Your Guide Ali was so much fun and knowledgeable of HER countryside. I found the tour to be low key yet full of adventure. My family and I loved it .🥰 The best part of the tour was seeing the natural waterfalls and the delicious food… 100% worth it!

Super fun time with friends. Was looking for some place unique that was NOT el Yunque and this was perfect! Alicia & Zac were great tour guides with so much knowledge. They were also super fun to hang with! The food we had for lunch was also super yummy. My favorite part of this tour is supporting local businesses and finding local hidden gems. Deff recommend!
